These are pictures from oversees fur farms. Here in the US the USDA and USDFW have strict regulations that govern humane farming and trapping of animals. Fur is a natural and renewable resource. On the other hand, the faux (fake) fur that is so prized by anti hunters is made from OIL. Yes, OIL, the substance that is poisoning our waters and our land and allegedly speeding up global climate change.
Fur is not made like that. The Fur trade and associations also comdemned bad practices. Fur is natural and when it's done like it should, it's better for the nature than petroleum fur. Don't beleive what these propaganda people show you. All they want is your money. Real fur is natural and it's not made like they show in those videos.

Fur bearing animals do not get skinned alive. The ONE video clip (7 years old now) of the ONE raccoon dog getting skinned alive was pretty much proven to be staged by the animal rights group the SAP.
Also, most of the world’s farmed fur is produced by European farmers - google it.

I found the many real fur coats at the TJ-maxx store in West Hills,California!! That is sick! It says " Made in China" That pissed me off ,grabbed the fur coats and threw them at the cashiers.....said " Fur coats are dead!!!" They were like looking at me and humbled.....

I will admit, raising your food only to be shot in the head quickly and painlessly is much more humane than anything processed. That also goes for hunting (for food, not sport). The notion that animals are somehow “skinned alive” is nothing short of absolutely laughable and glaringly shows how ignorant and gullible people can be. This is the Animal Rights movement at it's most DESPERATE!
Fur bearing animals do not get skinned alive. The ONE video clip (7 years old now) of the ONE raccoon dog getting skinned alive was pretty much proven to be staged by the animal rights group the SAP.
Also, most of the world’s farmed fur is produced by European farmers - google it.

This is horrible, I can't stand anyone who wears fur! How would THEY like it if they were skinned and then made into a jacket! I like how so many people are making videos against the fur industry (I made one as well), because this really needs to stop!

@shadowknightsliph I would not like it. I do not support fur farms in this mannor. I trap my animals in the wild. I kill my animals quickly. I skin my animals after they are dead. I use as much of the animal as possible. I shoot deer. I eat deer. I sell the hide. How do kill your food? You probably don't. You have some one else do it. How do you know they killed the animal "humanly" (should be spelled humanely)?

You don't support fur farms because of cruelty, yet you've stated you trap AND kill "your" animals quickly? 1- trapping is in NO WAY humane, ever. 2-most trapped animals linger for days sometimes in the bone-crushing jaws, some actually forced to chew off their own limbs to get away. 3- many states don't have regs re trapping, and some only require a 24 hr set & check. So, how are "your" animals NOT suffering?

@Blackhawkflygirl -1 "NO WAY humane" this is your statement being anthropomorphic, 2-please cite your research, My traps are checked daily. Not all traps that I use are foot hold. Most animals caught in foot holds show little to no injury. I have released animals from foot hold traps and they have no injury. 3-My state does have a law that requires you to check your traps in 24 hours. How are they not suffering, I have seen them not suffering in the traps either dead or sleeping when I arrive.

Lesser creatures? What if extraterrestrials came to earth from outer space and began to torture and exterminate every human on earth because they are 'lesser creatures.' These are living beings who feel pain and sorrow. And about the Food Chain thing, wild predators don't stuff their prey in cages to starve before being skinned alive. Of course, they don't wage massive wars and drop bombs on eachother either.

I'm not crying. Your entire argument is "We can do it because we are entitled to do it." That means that we should just because we can. In that sense, we can walk up to another human and kill him just because we are "bigger" and "better." Animals kill other animals for food, not enjoyment, and they certainly DO NOT skin them and wear their fur.

Livestock? I was thinking you were one of those hicks who kill just to hang the animal's head on a wall. My whole family trophy hunts and I find it appalling. I will admit, raising your food only to be shot in the head quickly and painlessly is much more humane than anything processed. That also goes for hunting (for food, not sport). I believe trophy hunting is a waste of innocent life. Then again, that's just me.

@Hyenashowl Have you seen a cat play with a live mouse that they have bitten? Or a fox? They do kill for enjoyment in some instances. Some animals do not eat the hide or fur. They tear away the hide and fur (or in other words skin) and eat the meat and some entrails. Please check your facts.
