Psilocybin is highly heat senstive meaning that you put any heat near it the psilocybin breaks down into a nuetral state with no hallucinogin properties. what your smoking is the akaloids that damage the lungs. so in simple... heating mushrooms to smoke breaks down psilocybin. meaning wasted shrooms, and damaged lungs.

I believe most shrooms get fucked up by heat but it doesn't matter if it's low heat. I believe semilanceata/liberty caps which I was picking are some of the tougher shrooms though, so apparently they are more likely to handle higher temperatures. (I'm not saying what you're saying is wrong, just telling what I thought I knew... I'm gonna google this stuff. so don't be offended please)
