Kent is my uncle, and Im sad to report that he has passed away early this morning from cancer. He has passed away comfortly in his bed. RIP Uncle Kent, we will all miss you!

When I grew up in Raymond WA in the 60s, the biggest deal was getting to see The Wailers in Aberdeen or the Spanish Castle. When I was in a minor garage band in the early 60s, I went to watch Kent just to LEARN!

I've lived in Virginia ever since and, alas, never had a chance to see Kent do Orbison's music. Friends tell me it was superb, but no video seems to exist, at least on the Web.

Kent was a musical legend & a genuinely fine person,who left us a rich legacy of his music.

 I had'nt heard about Kent's illness. I'm so glad he's doing better. He's a great talent and a super nice guy. The Wailers , as you know , are THE REAL DEAL.
