I love Enya, but pretending we are the few with true taste is pretentious: I believe Enya has sold more album than probably any other New Age (just a category, not saying I agree) artist, and she is the most successful artist in Ireland. I believe on a per-album basis, probably only Shania Twain, Michael Jackson, the Beatles and a few others have a better sales figure. However, I love Enya nonetheless, even I don't think I've ever really followed trends:)

Ahhh, I grew up on this album... It's crazy, I went through a major pop phase when I first started listening to music heavily at the age of twelve. Then I started the indie genre, that led me to post-rock, which I listen to almost exclusively... That lead me onto post-hardcore and post-metal, which then lead to ambient. This is essentially the type of music I ended up at, which is what I listened to when I was young. Nostalgia trip, definitely. I love this.

It was the Shakespeare-quoting moutain lion "Snagglepuss" who was well known for his catchphrase "Heavens to Murgatroid". His other beloved catch phrase was "Exit...stage right". Good ol' Snagglepuss was one of the many very popular Hanna-Barbara cartoon characters from TV in the late 50's & early 60's (The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Top Cat, Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, Quick Draw McGraw, Wally Gator, etc etc etc).
