kelpies mainly live in freshwater while Each Uisge live in Salt water. Both are bad, and can be distinguished with manes that always soaking wet. however with a Uisge add seaweed to the soaked mane.both trick humans into mountin(riding)them and then drown and eat their foolish victims. stories also spoke of just touching the horse long enough for it's skin to trap you to drown u too.

Kelpies are obviously real. One of my best friends is a Kelpie. We're actually quite good friends.

@DjTexasMassacre i honestly don't think they're real. and even if you did decide to believe in kelpies, legend says they only live in scottland and ireland i think. plus, something usually gives them away, such as a mane made of seaweed, or eyes that are pure white, or even something as simple as the mane is always soaking wet.

@DjTexasMassacre and duh, kelpies coat are black, so you'd just have to stay away from BLACK horses. but i'd but you'd stay away from my horse just because it looked black in the sun, even though her coat is BROWN.

Apparantlly, once the kelpie sees water, it's skin becomes adhesive, so the victim cannot escape.

they can't a kelpie has a sticky coat that is sorta like a a super glue for humans and other things thats why the elpie can't stay out of water to long and there is your answer if you asked a question witch you did

The Kelpie is deadly. They are not real, but live through their ledgend. Their coats become sticky if s human touches them, and they are imposible to climb back off, answering your question.

Apparently, the Kelpie drowns the human victim, then it transforms into a shark-like creature, devouring everything except the heart and liver.

Quite gross really. I researched them.

Dear, dear me. They didn't see a Kelpie but an Each Usige. Kelpies are found in rivers and springs, Each Usige in Seas and Lochs. There was quite a recent occurance were two campers happened on an Each Usige in the North of Scotland. Nasty things.
