I am new to band training. Have they significantly increased your strength, say, with body weight exercises, weight lifting, or athletic performances?
Absolutely...the best kind to get is the bodylastics brand...very durable and effective. Whats great about the band training is the resistance is constant 100% of the time. Keeping the muscles engaged throughout the entire set. Its a wonderful wieght to build muscle as apposed to weights. Its all I use.
These are great for switching things up in your workout had a guy tell me it was a joke I dared him to bang out 50 reps on bicep curls he almost fell to the floor on the 45th rep his bi s were engourged with blood curling pumps.
I know right...it's hilarious...its the same thing with things like yoga...guys think they have to bang out the weights all the time to get results and that couldn't be further from the truth.
Thanks htaehxela....absolutely use variations...increase the resistance with a different set of bands...bodylastics are excellent and affordable...increase your repetitions if possible and you will be totally capable of getting the results you want.
