If you listen further in you can tell Daniel Truly feels horrible! When he says "She's Dead?...NO! Help Her FIND a WAY!" Idea for Amnesia 2: You play as a prisoner (Mybe one of the girls Daniel and the scavengers kidnapped from the farm house) and you get Amnesia from falling down a stair case injuring yourself. Then the rest of the story consists of trying to find your family and escape (Mybe they dead) and you pass through some of the areas daniel was.

Still, I suppose it was his way of keeping his sanity long enough to take the amnesia potion to get revenge on Alexander. Daniel is not the good guy here. And neither is Alexander. In fact, some times, the only thing I feel even slightly sorry for are the gatherers.

@8ecky5tar Daniel is just a young guy who got manipulated by Alexander. Alex told him they were all criminals, murderers, and rapists. But i don't see how either of them are bad. Alexander isn't human. And where he comes from things may be different.

@TheEddieTehKiller66 There's a DLC to Amnesia. Amnesia - Justine. Takes place about 20 years or so later where you play as a girl named Justine. Thing i hate though is that the game cannot save and you have to play repeatably. I made the mistake of exiting now i got to redo what i had before.
