He was every hippy dippy girl's prince charming. We were all barking mad for him. Half the female population ended up dating Irishmen and Celts of any stripe at all because they sounded like Donovan in the dark! In the day light-not so much. Some of us married them as well-those, as I hear all the time, were the days.
