well not all of ww1 was in trenches and which side is which and wheres the pickelhaulb helmets and ts obivous that trenches were muddy and had diseases cause of rats but not the prussian trenches because the trenches had re-inforced walls and small rooms that were like little apartments and also the posion gases and the new germen helmets issued in 1916 and the sinking of the lusitania and the assasssin wanted Bosnia to be a part of Serbia so and the brits have no turtle helmets .

German flag at the time was black white and red tricolor, The present one was made after the war except period 1935 to 1945 (flag back in 1949),

Canada entered the war the same as the UK and the rest of the British Empire (later the Commonwealth). funny the Australian flag isn't there.
