omg 2010 december was my first time preforming and it wass so dang long and never ending but when yuh begin the hallelujah chorus it was the happiest thing in the world unless if yuh had 2 show straight but its an awesome expirience loved it all the way cnat wait to do it again this december (:

We are from Sidney Ohio. Daughter is 15 (almost 16). She has been a part of the Kettering Children's Choir for 9 years. She is finally old enough to be able to be a part of this with her choir this year. We are very excited for her, and us, to be able to go to Florida and attend this concert. Hopefully she will meet many wonderful people and have a great time!

I performed for these 3 years in a row, 99-01. I also had to do the soprano 1 part. Wow, those notes were high!! But listening to this, I still remembered every single note! And I was amazed I could still hit them! Have an awesome time to those who are performing next! Enjoy it because you will remember it forever, and please dress comfortably. You may freeze your butt off, but you wont faint in the middle of it!!! Those candles are a bitch to hold and those stage lights get ridiculously bright!

i sing sop. 1 and it wasn't that bad. but it was pretty high. i went last year and i thought it was the most life changing thing when you are up there and singing the hallelujah chorus and hitting all those nights while on stage with a famous person and looking out at thousands of people and realizing you are singing at disney world

Furthermore, it is stated in the student manual for the chorus department that the school will audition for CandleLight.

Haha! OUr old chorus teacher would let the alumni come back to sing but he left and the new teahcer wont let us. But the chorus just had their winter concert last night and a bunch of my buddies who graduated with me went and we sung along to all the Disney songs they did there. But its not quite the same.... But my friend said it was like having surround sound have the the chorus singing fromt he front and having us singing in the back. Good times.. Good times...
