I practice deep tissue massage and shiatsu on humans and my orange tabby. his neck is quite muscular and tense. of course he loves it. i even do lymphatic drainage type strokes on his neck and throat/ears/sinus etc to benefit his upper respiratory tract
I just was massaging my cat's biceps with my thumbs and he just melted and fell asleep in about 30 seconds, which led me to look up videos about cat massages :)
