  • This siren is an ACA-ASC Penetrator could be 10,15 or 50

  • Pls stop filming my wife >.<

  • I heard this at my school outside and it was so d*mn loud.I felt like I was deaf

  • they have to use this to wake me up on weekends

  • @xxhellswolfxx all sirens should be this loud just incase the need to sound it when people are asleep=)

  • First of all, This siren is an ACA Penetrator, and second, I think the siren is out of service. But i'm not sure if it is or not.

  • Smooth jazz I like it.

  • that sounds like the one we got in our town..

  • I forgot about this one!! I live about halfway between this siren and the 3T22 at City Hall. The harmony these two create just gives me chills. It's awesome!!

  • It still has the civil defense Sticker on it!

  • WAKE UP WITH KING AS IN BURGERKING THE KING OF BURGERS

  • dont stop this!

  • I biked passed this one earlier today 7-20-10.

  • p-15 siren

  • @Tabby266 Thanx.

  • I wish i could say the same thing about whelen sirens one of our whelen 4004 siren was hit by lightning three times that tell you how crappy the whelen sirens are.

  • @Tabby266 Ok are you much of a fan of federal signal sirens?

  • @Tabby266 ok thanks for the information.

  • can someone explain the diffenece detween p-10 and p-15 so far i judge by tone, so now i seem to say P-10s sound like allertors, and this is a P-15 im just too confused...

  • It sounds like a p-10 or p-15!

  • @Westy1962, if you're ever wondering what these sirens are called, they're penetrators.

  • @TspesVladD the sound they make is Certainly Penetrating!

  • @form109, yeah I know.

  • I can't believe it. I was looking in google earth where I know a 2001 sits and in google earth I found the same spot and there stood a P-10/P-15. but each time we pass that spot, I think it replaced it.

    Dang that sucks.

  • They have this Siren in parts of NY.

  • yup this is 8 port

  • They have it wired up backwards also. ACA is one of the few manufacturers to use directional rotors.

  • This is a nice looking P-15/P-10. It has a good wind down. After the alert though, It sounded a little rough winding down, but after that it was good.

  • 8/12 port? and the SD-10 is 9/12? im kinda still new to port ratios

  • I'm installing a single Tone P-15 in Milan GA next month.

  • Have you noticed the way a ASC T-128 look like?

  • What about it?

  • the way it is shape i am referring too its bigger in the front than the back

  • @csx2295 it looks like a sliced orang cool right

  • ITS A ACA HOWLER

  • P-15

  • No, Its an ACA P-15/RM-127

  • ACA penetrator. these sirens are in Memphis, TN.

  • are the P-15/RM-127's prone to snow buildup?

  • Not too badly, at least not near as bad as the Allertors were, which is why they went from that style housing to the Penetrator-style housing, to try and eliminate that problem.

  • its a ACA P-15 i heard that sound in person at my school every 10:00 am

Not anymore it broke about two years ago and it still hasent been replaced : (

i hope they replace it with a Whelen Vortex and not a crap FS-2001

  • @SovietUoin do you consider a 2t22 or 3t22 a good siren besides the crappy whelen sirens?

  • @SovietUoin why don't they replace it the P-15 with a better good quality siren the best siren i know of American Signal T-128 they are better than the Whelen Vortex our Whelen Vortex was hit by lightning twice then it was fixed and was hit again.

  • Nice place for that siren. Right next to Burger King!!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!

  • Now you can definitely wake up with the King.

  • Neat! It looks like a bread mixer and sounds like a leaf blower!

  • i live in crystal

  • Is this a P-10. It seems lower in pitch that the P-15 in the Eden Prairie vid.

  • everyone on the siren board is saying this is a P-15

  • Good Video of the P-15 Siren. :)

  • is this supposed to be dual tone? it kinda sounds like it at times.

  • Nope, single tone. Single tone Penetrators produce a really husky tone for some reason, similar to the Sentry Defender.

  • Comment removed

  • i saw three P-15's in Millington,Tennessee one was on Fite Road in its place a Whelen 3016 siren series and one across WMC-TV 5 at the fire department and another on top of the EMA office our 4 Whelen sirens are Whelen 4004 siren they rotate 180 degrees to the left and stop rotate 180 degrees to the right while the siren is sounding then the whoop sound when they turn off.

  • @firealarm211right, our 8 sirens are tested

on the first Saturday of the month every month

    for 3 minutes at 12noon- 12:03pm a long boring

    3 minutes.

  • Its single toned, but i do hear that second pitch, much like a P-50, or Cyclone. Motor perhaps?

  • it must be an overtone. i sorta hear it too.

  • sweet

  • awesome vid. very cool shot of this P-15.

  • Very nice! Just noticed that it turns the opposite direction from the ones we have here.

  • It sounds a lot like a Sentry. Excellent quality
