Increased money supply weakens currency.

CEO pay has no relation to the economy. Prices are set by the market and have no relation to a CEOs salary. Only in the case of a monopoly could a company set their prices to anything they wanted to. Salaries work in a similar way. Get the government involved in regulating either one of these and you will see what a true economic disaster looks like. werv, I don't see where you get your NWO correlation from. Being against tax increases and government regulation would actually be against the aims of NWO proponents. Only the government can create a real monopoly in the first place, either by nationalizing an entire industry or giving established private corporations the regulatory tools necessary to prevent competitors from getting in the game. It sounds like you are talking about a flat tax then. Everyone pays the same percent. The "tax the rich" crowd would be against a flat tax because with their concept of "fairness" the rich should pay a bigger percentage. The Flat Tax is probably more viable than the National Retail Sales Tax.

Yes, but that ignores the fact that there are many policies and approaches that are socialist in nature. Because of that fact, the poor will always have politicians who will pander, just as the corporations do. The income tax percent actually does go up the more rich a person gets. The liberals cry of "tax cuts for the rich" always refers to dollar amounts, because an equal tax cut accross the board for rich and poor alike will always result in more dollars saved for the rich because 1% of a large amount of money is greter than 1% of a smaller amount. Thus ANY tax cut can always be statistically manipulated into being called a "tax cut for the rich" by liberals, who oppose ANY tax cut for ANYONE.

werv, tax loopholes are available to everyone, not just the rich. If the "poor" aren't paying taxes on capital gains and estates then that's just another example of the rich paying MORE taxes than the poor. The majority of the working class does get hit with the capital gains tax however. In years where I made less than $20K in income I never even paid one dime in taxes. People who are really poor don't pay ANY taxes, and they get the MOST freebies out of government.
