This car is an early version of Darius's car, it is much different today.

if you put the same money from building a sick rb26dett into a turbo v8 you'll make a hell of alot more power. look up "10.5 Inch Tire 6 second Ford Mustang" and you'll see what a i mean. the world's fastest skyline can't touch that...

Why do people insist on ruining their Zs with v8s? You can make more than enough power with an SR20 or an RB without destroying your weight distribution.

a properly installed V8 doesn't throw off weight distribution much at ALL with some slight modification and it is much cheaper and much easier to acquire parts for than an SR20 or especially an RB

@TheLPB Indeed, but going for a LT1 or LS1 or better will cost you quite a bit.

Regular v8s can push 200HP stock.. but an LT1 already gives you 300HP, not to mention torque to match. :]

Also, SR20 are vanity engines, its just a fad. Performance wise is meh.. unless your sponsored I wouldn't touch that 4banger.

The most critical factor when decided to swap motors is where you live. If you live in the states its gonna cost you an arm and a leg for proper imported in order to run a modified SR/RB motor.

Look at all those 240SX's with motor swaps for example, those cars are dirt cheap, the engines there putting in can sometimes be worth more than the car itself and after all that labor a money dumped into putt that motor in you've spent more than 3 times the value of the car for a supposedly simple swap.

forced injection can do that, runs a bit rich especially when you lift off the throttle.
