  • its not that serious lol

  • i l0ve ur dress

  • It was cute but if you would have pulled the elastic more when you measured it, it wouldn't be hanging in the back. Still cute and quick!

  • I am a new subscriber and I love your pizazz and the fact that you make it fun in learning how to do it. My mom always stiched by hand so a sewing machine would make this so much easier.

I look forward to new videos as well as reviewing all of those you have made.

Keep up the good work and just know you have fans regardless of the mean critics.

    Kajundiva

  • @southbrooke112 She doesn't talk too much or "weird" you idiot, you have a different accent.

  • @LittleMisss15x shut up please she does talk when they no what to do she says kay after every word so yeah you have nothing on me but crack p.s you are such a boy pretending to be a girl

  • @southbrooke112 Lmao. Moron. It's called a habit. Go to school, please.

  • if you are 10 like me and do not have boobs is it posible to sew straps on becauseit is inapropeit and no straps HELLOn i am only 10 :)

  • hi. really like your vids. it's simple and easy to follow. thanks so much for sharing this to people like me who just about to start sewing own clothes.. :)

btw, i really like your top. did u do this too?

  • I really like the top you are wearing in this video. Please do a tutorial on your top! thanks :D

  • wow!

  • a simple way to cut a strait line, is to just make a cut about 1 inch big, the rip it all the way down :)

  • Aren't you afraid your large basting sitiches will look sloppy? And there was a HUGE puckery gap in the back when you turned around. Side seams are needed in a sheath like this (sorry, hon, but it is not an A-line as you mentioned). It would have been better to have just done a wrap/sarong-like dress out of your fabric until you could get to a pattern or a sewing machine. Your idea is great, just needs some work. :)

  • love it!!!

  • u r better @ exlplaining things than other people

  • can u try 2 make gloves?

  • is very nice thanks.....

  • i made one for my mum she said she love it!

  • Awesome video and I love your positive attitude!

  • OMG!! that's AWESOME!!!! I;m gonna do this :D thanks for not using a sewing machine it shows jut how sinple it really is! :D

  • I think you did a great job. Obviously, it didn't fit her perfect because she didn't measure it but we got the picture. Quit hating.

  • @ChulaSexxyChica83 Yeah to give the viewer(s) a basic idea. From there they can use their own judgement on measurements if they chose to. :)

  • what my most beautiful dress i have never seen in life !

  • @r3dkitt3n this was just a basic demonstration on how to sew a dress she obviously didnt take precise measurements so it might have been a little big when she tried it on.

  • @velazquez773 Yeah to give the viewer(s) a basic idea. From there they can use their own judgement on measurements if they chose to. :)

  • Thanks!!! Loved it!! My moms birthday is coming up! And I wanna make a black dress and add some studs!! Thank you!

Can you understand that womans who will wear that dress outside CAN be seen from back?So your nice under 10$ dress is a reall ugly messy one.If u really want people to like your videos then do the things untill end, this mean perfect.I wont subscribe untill i will not see some changes ,this means clear images from back and laterals.sory

  • Very nice and easy! Thank you!!

  • Pretty material and it looks good on you from the front.......but the back doesn't look too good....and why don't we see the hem on on the dress?

  • I agree I'd like to know how to make the top your wearing In the video too, anyone know what style that's called?

  • this would be nothing to make with a sewing machine. I've made things like this when Iwas on the run out of the house lol my record time is 4 minutes

  • This type of dress is also great to sew from those big, pretty scarves I'm always finding at thrift stores.

  • is it streachy fabric?

  • I am going to try this asap--I have plenty of fabric. Thank you!

  • that is great!!! :)

what kind of fabric did you use? it looks like silk

  • Love the detailed explanations! And it's good that I don't need the sewing machine :)

  • Wow I think I have my project for the weekend :-) This is amazing, thanks!

  • Did you make the shirt you're wearing? I would love to know how to make that.

  • boooo

  • ty for this i need to learn for school and for myself lol. by the way u kinda look like thelma from good times. and yes that's a compliment

  • yay im the 600th person to like this video!, that dress terned out relay well, good job!

  • yay im the 600th person to like this video!

  • FOcus camera :]

Other than that Video was great :]

  • Note how in the video when she tries this dress on, it gapes open in the back? I think it helps to make the elastic slightly shorter than it takes to go around the top. This will stretch the elastic when you wear it, helping it stay up snuggly. You can even add a coordinating wide belt to maintain shape and create interest!

  • Omg I love it I tried to make it and it turned out beautiful and the price was only 5.00 it's crazy I'm so excited to wear it!!!!!!!! Thank you

  • What a very nice lady

  • Lovely.....you are so good at this.

  • I want to know how to sew the top you are wearing in the video.

  • Im drinking a Coca Cola right now.

    If ya can plz reply

  • i like dat dress

    its so simpel

    and you ar bterful

    XXX

  • Very cute and to the point. I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO SEW!!! But u made this very simple and I think I may be able to pull it off. lol

  • Is your voice/accent real? =/

  • erm this video would be better if it is more high quality thanks

  • love the dress 100 stars

  • I have a tip for you, try and get to the point instead of taking to long cause viewers might get a bit bored and just go on to another video...hope you use my advice thanks.

  • After having kids, I have decided to become more frugal :) and I think that I would like to start making my own clothes to keep that "feeling sexy" look going for me since now its more about my kids then myself! this video has helped me get somewhere! you have broke it down enough to make me "the simplest" person understand... greatly appreciated and God Bless sweety :)

  • i need to make a dress for halloween but i want the dress that the little mermaid whers when her tail turns into feet have u any idea on how i could make that

  • You should have your own T.V. show I'd watch every week!

  • @munteanuioan You areso pathetic...and a creep! Imagine the people that can NOT afford to purchase the top dollar fabric and don't have a machine? There was a time in my life when I would have found this video to be so inspiring and helpful to a poor single mother of 3 that could not afford to go out shopping for anything I wanted. You are probably not much better off yourself as I see your spelling is also very pathetic. Be a nice little girl and go play with your doll & leave this lady alone

  • where can i get cheap fabric like yours? Are there certain stores that sell such fabrics for dollars?

it's just that ur voice is a little 2 high.

  • @littlemsjing Her voice is high cause shes a female

  • u r an absolute doll! haha cute dress thanks! xo

  • omg ... this is just a basic tube dress, ive made many of these. they can be made in young kid sizes up to plus size adult sizes. i recamend a sewing machine though it would make the process alot faster

  • dats hella cute

  • I love it! Great tutorial and very simple to do for such a cute outfit!

  • That is cute but, I don't think that will look good on everyone. I would like to have seen it from the back. The top portion of the back looked a little droopy but, thanks for sharing.

  • can u do a dress a line for size 16 that would be great

  • That is very cute and looks very easy. Where can i get the elastic from and what would it be called in the store?

  • @Emmababe1100

I generally purchased my fabric in the Los Angeles Garment District. I am going to set up some partnership opportunities soon with different fabric companies. Hopefully, I will have some online fabric vendors to share with you soon.

In the meantime, you can try signing up for your local craft stores mailing list. This way you will receive special coupons and discounts on fabric and other supplies.
