@logancody05 I am aware that Johnson got us involved in Vietnam. Nixon getting us out was one of the best things he did because he actually listened to the country and its people and we wanted out. However, to say Jane Fonda gave comfort to the enemy is silly as she went there as a peacemaker; you would have accused Jesus Christ of the same. I love Jane Fonda. She was trying to end the bombings in Vietnam and help the innocent who were being killed. I admire her courage tremendously. She made a few mistakes along the way, but has apologized for them. HER!!! she caused the deaths of POW's and stripped them of their respect and was with vietcong troops the whole time doing it. while she visited a pow camp a prisoner gave her a note giving information (US SOLDIER) she TURNED THE NOTE INTO THE GAURDS AND THEY WERE KILLED!!!! this treasonous bitch shouldn't be allowed inthis country let alone alive

I defy anyone sit here and tell me that the founding fathers had what she did in mind when they drafted the first amendment. If a citizen wants to protest a war, that's fine. I have no problem with that. But she willingly starred in North Vietnamese propaganda pieces that were used to demoralize Americans serving downrange. That is a textbook example of providing aid and comfort to the enemy. That is treason.

@50poiuyt The soldiers were dead because they were ambushed by these dirty uneducated communists hidden in jungles and civilians backyards and undergrounds. These commies were a bunch of cowards hiding and used civilians as shields to cover for them. If theyre heroes, then they should have fought the South Vietnamese army face to face like a man, not just hiding like animals waiting for opportunities to attack them from behind their back.
