The Greeks one philosopher Plato? What about Aristotle, Euripedes, Pythagoras, ovid.... Western civilisation is not based on the old and new testaments. It is based on many books and many people and cultures. It is very heavily influenced by Greek civilisation. I am tired of Islam's need to be reductive just because it is informed by one book and one person. The rest of the world is more complex and hybrid.

Islam is not derived from Judaism. The Arabic and Hebrew are both semitic languages and they share many similarities.
