  • Your very good.

  • You should teach wood how to play this cause he fucks it up.

  • do not underestimate Ron Wood, he´s not Taylor, he will never be, no one will be like Mick, but in his way Ronnie is an extraordinary musician. e.g. his solo on You Can`t Always get What You Want (Love You Live) is one of my all time favourite guitar art works. And "Some Girls" without Wood would maybe suck; who knows?

  • @tokabilitor Well said. And there is no Some Girls without Ron Wood.

  • Is there a scale you mostly use in the key of "A"?

  • Dude is that the LEs Paul Faded Model you are using? It sosunds very nice......awesome job on this lead....

  • Beautiful, dude. Great job. You really highlight what a great soloist Mick Taylor is.

  • EASY.....

  • i know time waits intro excellent playing

  • You nailed it!

  • What key is this in?

  • sounds very accurate im playing keiths rhythm riff with it

  • @Andoy1 It's Jagger's Riff actually. Keith didn't write this song and didn't even play on it

  • Great lesson on one of Mick T's best solos. Thank you.

  • yeaah man you are great! what is the scale of the solo? please!

  • Taylor is like a whirling dervish of rock----his playing puts you in a trance!

  • Hey man, excellent work!!!! Thanks!

  • That is REALLY excellent!!

Love Mick Taylor solos---great job, you really capture the feel and tone perfectly---great post.

  • nice one. can you giv us a little demo of Time waits for no-one solo? please

  • thx for your comment, work in progress, it`s harder than I supposed

  • beautiful

  • Fucking brilliant!

  • i spend many hours practicing this solo just like mick tayler played it and i heard a few tones different; at 2:30 isnt the tone after the bending on the b-string (on the same frat)? Why do you slide so high at 2:15? Are you sure he bends at 1:58? And where did you take the tones at the end from? I could never listen so far...

  • awesome...how about Taylor's part on Winter...

  • this song is in open G tunning!!!

  • @rafaultimate69 Jagger plays the rhythm in open G; Taylor does the leads and slide in standard tuning. He very rarely used open tunings. Not sure why Jagger used open G, but since Richards doesn't play on this cut, maybe he just picked up a guitar lying around in the studio.

  • @rafaultimate69 ---the rythym guitar is (keith's). Taylor played the lead in standard

  • @IdolHans The rythm guitar is actually Mick J on this one. Keef was taking a day off.

  • @vdbdg No way! Cite your reference----and beware, I've got them all too!

  • mick taylor is my favorite stones guitarist-nice job

  • Cool you're so into Mick Taylor. Great song.

  • les paul studio; amp is a fender 5w vibrochamp xd

  • very nice.

    is this in standard tuning...?

  • yes it is

  • Zein Gut!!!! Danke!

  • Its so good to see someone appreciate the guitar playing on Sway. Most Stones fans I've met don't seem too bothered with Sway. But its an incredible song. It truly is an amazing solo that Mick plays. Its my favourite MT solo that he played on record with The Stones. Cheers.

  • That's way better than Ron Wood plays it!

  • yawn

  • Dude, this is great!

But I need to know, is it allowed to spend more time on utube learning this great lesson than hanging with your lady?

    laughter.

  • Is that MT himself playing!! LOL, Nice Job ,you really captured the flavor of that solo.

  • Great job man, you are gifted... about the sound... is it clean or do you use an effect? overdrive?, delay? happy holidays!!!

  • I used a fulltone fulldrive 2

  • @tokabilitor Do you use just a clean push or the distortion on the fulldrive 2? Thx-u are a very capable player:)

  • I used a little distortion, but the clean boost might be cool; didn´t try that

  • Dear Tokabilitor, Ausgezeichnet mein Herr! You've got the touch brother!

    Helmut

  • Nice playing !! Thanks for the lesson. Also nice Firebird in the back.

  • I've been looking forever for a good demonstration of this solo from one of my favorite songs...great job!

  • nice! Mick Taylor is one of the most underrated guitarists of all time I think, the Stones treated him like shit.

  • @peacefrog1916 thats how you get to the top your ruthless

  • Thanks for the post. Just started to work on this one. Have you ever tried any of Micks wah style and if so could you put some of that up.
