For your information Mr rock musician and producer, that might just be one of the funniest replies to a comment i've ever had the pleasure of reading. You've made yourself sound like a complete and utter snob-like prick. Firstly, because I've studied both sociology and sociology of modern culture in depth and secondly, because I've been going to live gigs for the last 15 years or so, well before I was even legally old enough to be there.

I'd have thought that someone such as yourself with your obviously vast knowledge of music would appreciate comments from anyone across the scial class system defending the music of a band that you have loved since their inception? ok, thats a cool response. I agree that good music should reach everyone and lucky you not being subjected to the unfairness and unequality of a class system in your country, in the UK there is still a hell of alot of crap surrounding social class, despite what the government would have us believe. It was actually my boyfriend that left the original comment and I think he was referring to how Doves music is made by decent, hard working people for decent, hard working people. thank u anyway m8

Doves have turned in to one of the best brit bands of the last few years, quality songs. Ive stopped buying NME now cos they tend to over look good bands now and they have turned into the equivalent of the Daily Star of the music world. NME is embarrassing and means nothing to me. cant read it now it is so bad!! Q is shit too!!
