  • Haha you silly believers will be a great source of humor for the rest of my life :D

  • Sir your God knew the outcome before the start, but still insists on holding us accountable for sins he knew we would commit before the foundation of the world

Free will doesn't work because your God knew all the long range consequences for giving us free will, again, before the foundation of the world.

The only thing that makes any of this reasonable is might makes right.

God might as well have cut out the middle man and just created me in hell.

  • to the people that disliked this......good luck in life without god....

  • @jhill1299 to the people who like this......good luck with missing out on harmless fun in life because your afraid of offending a make believe deity....

  • If the chance of the bible being correct is that low, you're an idiot for believing in it.

The chance is even lower because of the HUNDREDS of other existing religions.

If you need to use the Bible to prove the Bible correct, you don't need to believe in it.

You baisically said this: The bible is correct because the bible said prophecies were predicted and they happened because the bible says it happened.

  • 1:100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 wow

  • So... I'm supposed to convert for this? Some ancient forgeries and deliberate fulfillment of prophecy by modern believers? Please.

  • @bubtehzombee ever heard of the black sea scrolls? and yeah Jesus obviously "deliberately" died quickly so they wouldnt break his legs as predicted right? same with the other 1000+ uncontrollably fulfilled prophesies..even the weather and physical nature of the earth seem to be in on this huge lie. You'd need a lot more faith to think that all this happened by chance than to believe there was some supernatural power behind it.

  • @billandfritzat Indeed, but it didn`t happen.

    Matthew 27:52-53

"and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, and came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many."

Did this happen, yes or no ?

  • Trying to use the bible to prove the bible is like trying to use a SAW movie to prove John Saw really existed.

Given there are NO accounts from secular writters from the time of this Jesus & The fact that there are no J's in Hebrew all point to Jesus Christ being a man made work of fiction not a real person.

Which the so called prophecies being fulfilled is no more shocking then a Saw movie fulfilling the wishes of John Saw after his Death in movie 3.

  • @PastorIblis So your one of those people that claims jesus is a myth, i thought people had gotten over that ridiculas claim, you do know almost every respected historian and scholar admit jesus was a real person now, they just debate on who he was. There are a few that believe he never existed, but most believe he did, the hebrew people believe he existed, the romans believed he existed, the arabs believe he existed, they where the people that lived in the regions, they should know.

  • @soulja3001

The Jesus myth is a core part of the political system that runs this world so of course the figurehead of their bullshit will be pushed as if he really existed.

The story of Jesus could very easily have been lifted from the life of Apollonius of Tyana.

What is funny as hell is you people can't use a simple calander.

Jesus died on a Friday night.

    Rose again on Sunday morning.

That is not even two days!

More like a Day and a half!

Remember the days were Evening to Morning

  • @soulja3001 Very Well Said, thank you and God Bless You!!

  • I gave this video a great shot at convincing me otherwise of my way of thinking (atheism), but it didnt seem enough for me. All of the proof of the bible being real came from the bible... Sorry :/

  • Test. Waiting comment approval? Typical

  • !!! HIS MERCY REINS FOR-EVER !!! NON BELIEVERS WILL HAVE TO DEAL WITH THERE CONSEQUENCES IN THE END !!! REGARDLESS SMALL OR LARGE !!!

  • @drtool23 K there.

  • @drtool23 ... yeah calm down jesus

  • :)!!!!!!<3 I love God, I love Jesus!

  • The messiah was supposed to be from Bethelhem and called Emanuelle. Jesus was from Nazareth and the authors have different views of where he was born and how he traveled to bethelhem afterwards. It just proves that the later stories tried to sell him as the messiah and failed to remain consistent to each other.

  • @rmarcontell

Hence you resort to a lie claiming Him to be a lie when the proof everyone sees for a real God is streaming right to your face.

    Denial...

  • Actually, the fastest-growing "religious" position

    world-wide is atheism.

So it's a fallacy to speak of

"the proof everyone sees for a real God.."

If there were proof, everyone would worship your god by now.

  • @rmarcontell

Hence Isaiah and Jeremiah and even Christ foretelling the destruction of Israel.

Hence it happened in 70AD when General Titus and the 10th Roman Leigion sacked Jerusalem and crucified over 10 million of them.

Hence the impossible prophecy of them coming back in 1948.

    Need any more HENCES?

  • @rmarcontell

Sorry. But the palestinians have NEVER existed as an official society. That claim dates back to Augustus Cezars's lover named Hadrian who took all the maps and renamed Israel PALESTINE.

    FAIL, yet again.

    And I don't have a religion, I have a REALITY!

  • Um, has anyone ever heard of Mithras? that is the god that jesus was copied from. Jesus is not original. He is a direct copy from someone else's religion. christianity does not have one original thought. I am amazed at how christians can blindly believe something that just isn't true.

  • @divasue You've bought that Zeitgeist crap, eh? Mithras as he existed at the time of the NT writing was Persian (the Roman myth postdates Christianity) and has nothing in common w/ Jesus.

Zeitgeist's mythology has been thoroughly debunked. You owe it to yourself to do some real research before you believe a lie at the expense of your eternal soul. Maybe googling 'zeitgeist debunked' will yield good results for you. At least do SOME research, divasue.

  • Still sounds like "born" to me. Unless you mean like, literally born, from the womb of a female or hatching from an egg. In which case, seek psychiatric attention.

  • one hundred quintillion

  • @rmarcontell

Alright. The Sun doesn't move UP because there is no UP in outer space.

    Happy?

  • yes because the bible means your god is true NEWS FLASH people believed in other gods than yours

  • Ah, yes- the "good news."

    "Love me and believe me

or I will burn you for ever

in the torture chamber I invented."

    That's certainly great news!

  • @Imaginefree69 - your interpretation of the gospel is very telling. You have a serious chip on your shoulder.

The 'good news' is that though we all deserve judgment and God's wrath because of our sins, he has made a way through the death and resurrection of Christ for us to be forgiven and inherit eternal life. It is by his grace, b/c of his mercy, that we are adopted into his family when we believe on Christ. If you repent and believe, you will be forgiven and can come to know your Creator.

  • "we all deserve judgment and God's wrath " Speak for yourself, please. Justice requires that the punishment be proportional to the crime. Infinite, eternal, unbearable torture is NOT a just response to, say, failure to believe. Especially when your god claims to grant or with hold faith at his own whim. In fact, your god forbids punishing people for the deeds of their fathers, yet all of humanity is cursed and condemned because Adam ate a bit of fruit? It's a MYTH, dude. And a silly one at that.
  • @Imaginefree69 "Justice requires that the punishment be proportional to the crime"

Yeah, that's right. That's why unbelief has eternal consequences. The Son of God became flesh. taking on the nature of a servant. He humbled himself and paid the penalty for your sins. If you are not willing to receive him, the penalty falls back on you. The reality is that you possess an eternal spirit. That spirit will either be with God in heaven, or seperated from him in the lake of fire.

    (cont'd)

  • "Eternal consequences"?

You mean eternal torture by the "god of love."

And, really, this whole discussion is nonsense,

as we are acting as though this bloody, evil myth

concocted by bronze-age nomads afraid of the dark

    is somehow real and literal.

It's just a myth, on par with Zeus, Apollo, Krishna,

and all the other fireside stories of ignorant humans.

    Education dissolves religion,

and yours is no different from any other.

  • "The possibility for the bible to be correct on all its prophesies is 1 in 10 to the 2000th power"

    Okay...

But as the prophecies are NOT true,

    what's your point?

  • "But as the prophecies are NOT true"

    Name one.

    They are all indeed true.

  • Comment removed

  • So what you are saying is that purely by chance... there is a 1 in 10 to the 2,000 power chance that all of your supposed phrophesies were supposedly fulfilled completely by chance.....well....I guess you gotta start somewhere. So in effect, your saying that you are not 100% certain that God exists, almost, but not quite....wouldn't that put you into the agnostic camp? Just wondering.

  • Judging by those numbers, I guess what it means is that if a person was given a quadrillion lifetimes to live, then there might possibly arise a brief moment of time where unbelief woud be justified by statistics and probablity alone.

  • What the.. You're seriously using mathematical probability to "prove" that the Bible is correct? No, no, no, no, no. Don't. That's not how it works, seriously. You can't round up the prophecies and then decide what numeric values they have.

Also, well done whoever's quoting the Bible to someone who clearly doesn't believe in it.

    Aarrrgghhhhhh.

  • Chance of a christian god existing = so close to zero it's impossible to round up

  • Chance of a christian god existing =.......1. In 1.

  • copy and add much?

chance of atleast some entertainment from you = 0

  • lol

  • Probability of strolling around after being dead for three days = zero.

  • Please say you are a parody, I find it hard to believe anyone would expect the recipitent to believe what your saying when so manyof your facts are wrong.

In particular much of what your calling historical information isn't so, I would suggest learning history from a source other than creationist websites and texts.

  • Can you please show your working out? I would like to know how you determined the odds of biblical prophesy correctedness as being 1/20^2000.

It looks like you just pulled the number out of your imagination and wishful thinking for facts to back your argument.

  • my head is hurting from the number of facepalms

  • I practically tremble with excitement when I hear of what Isaiah wrote in Isaiah 66:8.

As a matter of fact the prophet himself seems to at a bit of a loss for words!

"Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children."

ON MAY 15TH 1948 WHAT EVERY MAJOR PROPHET IN THE BIBLE HAD BEEN SAYING CAME TO PASS!

    ISRAEL WAS REBORN!

  • oh ffs

  • Firstly i want to apologise as i couldnt sit through your whole presentation i probably got halfway through it.

But are the prophecies you quoted from the bible?

i.e "whomever" said so and so will happen and the bible said it happened

My opinion is that u cant use something from the bible to back up the bible itself?

Improbability of chance doesnt prove something, evidence does like find noah ark itself is

Correct me if im wrong didnt really get the video and will be glad to be enlightened

  • Simply amazing! This alone is proof of the bible and that Jesus died for our sins so that we could have eternal life with him in heaven.

  • micah? Seriously?

This is satire.. it must be. Nothing this stupid can be for real.

  • "For the foolishness of God is wiser than man, the weakness of God stronger than man."

You may think it stupid. Not sure about the accuracy of the number given here (a solid 2000?) But I know from my own studies that 13 of these 2000 prophecies alone cranked up to 1 in 10 to the power of 138. You.......will have no excuse, when you stand before God. :( So don't let it come to that man. His love is being offered...accept it, and secure your eternity. For Christ wished none would perish!

  • There is no god!

  • "The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God." Psalms, 14:1

  • Shove your book up your ass ans start reading something else!

There is no god and there is no such thing as a christian.

I made a video called just that.

  • "Again, anyone who says to his brother, 'Raca, is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell."

    Matthew, 5:22

  • Comment removed

  • Actually, we need to understand the term "brother" in this....he's not my brother...stop quoting the bible and try and actually learn it.

  • The bible speaks of loving your enemy. If the evil, godless non-believers are not entitled to this love of yours, and thus aren't your "brothers", only then will you not go to hell for calling people fools. Either you do NOT fulfill this wish of your god that everybody deserve your love... Or you get to go to hell. According to this dusty book.

  • I was loving my enemy :) It was a statement of correction. And no, brothers refers to brothers in God, go read the bible again. Thus, do I love my enemy, yet call this man, correctly, a fool. Stop pretending to know anything about the bible.

  • Once again, a Christian is saying, "Believe what I tell you or you will die!" Sign me up-not!

  • Get video Man, We watched it in Jr, High last night. It was amazing!

  • Thank you! God bless your school for showing it

  • my friend you are insane get help

  • great video

  • Not to doubt you, I am a Christian too, but where did you get the information? In any case, nice job.

  • name one such inconsistency or contradiction, please.

  • Genesis chapter 1 Verse 21- God made the birds (day 5) V 25- God made the wild animals (day 6) V 27- God created man in his own image.. male and female he created them Now chapter 2 V7- God made man from the dust of the ground V19- God made birds and ALL the beasts (same day!) V22- God made a woman from the man's rib (because he didn't want to marry an aardvark or a zebra) It's a direct contradiction. They cannot both be true.
  • "It's a direct contradiction.

    They cannot both be true"

Genesis 2 isn't a chronological account of creation; the text doesn't say that God formed the animals after he made Adam, only that he formed them and brought them to Adam. It does not deal with the time-frame at all. For example, there is no use of words like "then" or other chronological indicators. So, Gen 2 does not contradict the chronological account of chapter 1, you are simply inferring chronological sequence where none exists.

  • You're grasping at straws.

    Chapter 2:

7- the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground..

8- And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. 9- And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree

18- And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. 19- And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast

If you can't see the chronology,

    you are willingly deceived.

  • "If you can't see the chronology,

    you are willingly deceived."

Since when does "and" denote chrological sequence????

  • "Since when does "and" denote chrological sequence????"

What a determined effort to remain blind.

    As I said,

If you can't see the chronology,

    you are willingly deceived.

  • @Imaginefree69 "If you can't see the chronology, you are willingly deceived."

Sorry, but it's you who are willingly deceived if you continue to insist that 'and' denotes chronology. For example, if I say "I went to the store and the car wash." no chronological sequence is implied. But if I insert 'then' or 'next' into the sentence, chronological sequence is established. Since Genesis 2 doesn't use chronological words, you are in error to insist that it's a chronological telling of creation.

  • There's a lot more to the story than the word "and."

Please look at the story itself:God made man.

God made each of the animals and offered them to man,

man did not choose an aardvark or a fruit bat as a mate,

    so god made woman.

    That is a chronology.

There are more ways on indicating a progression

than tediously inserting "then" between each event.

  • @Imaginefree69 "That is a chronology.

    "

The only thing that you can correctly deduce is that God brought the animals to Adam for naming before he created woman. This does not contradict the account in chapter 1. We are not told that Eve was made IMMEDIATELY after Adam.

  • Chapter 1 v11- grass, herbs, trees v20, 21- fish, fowls, marine animals v.25- land animals v27- Man and Woman created together Chapter 2 v.5- no plants yet v.7- Man created v8- garden planted, Man put in it v9- trees appear v19- every beast and fowl created v22- Eve created These are mutually exclusive sequences. Just look at where Woman was created in each account.
  • @Imaginefree69 "These are mutually exclusive sequences.

Just look at where Woman was created in each account."

You're still insisting that chapter 2 is a sequence, eh? There is no chronology denoted in the text. That is simply your erroneous interpretation.

  • "Is so!" "Is not!" "Is so!" "Is not!" If this is your idea of a discussion, count me out. Cling to your myth, if that pleases you. Having graduated from a 4-year Bible College I can tell you that a large part of theological training consists of learning to swallow large and awkward incongruities without choking. You're getting very good at it. Adios.
  • @Imaginefree69 "Having graduated from a 4-year Bible College"

Yeah, salvation is not about what you know, but about who you know. It's a pity that you studied the Bible for four years and never got to know the God who inspired it.

It seems to me that you gleefully latch on to the passages that give you trouble in the hope that you can absolve yourself of responsibility for your sin. As a Bible college student, you surely know the folly of that position.

  • @Imaginefree69 Wow! It seems like every were I go, I see your name , and your always talking about God and the bible, it seems You are Obsessed with God and his word, which I find so funny, you fight so hard to prove he does not exist or that the whole thing is a myth, and yet He is all you talk about, That is God of course I mean. I just find you on most Christian videos spewing the same things. OBSESSED MUCH

  • @greatestgiftis !!! THOSE LIKE THAT PERSON ARE IN A LOST CAUSE. THEY KNOW DEEP DOWN INSIDE THEY ARE DEFEATED !!! THEY ARE TRYING SOO DESPERATELY TO MAKE RIGHT THERE WRONG THEY HAVE WITH IN THEM !!! : )

  • @greatestgiftis I spent over 40 years as a pastor and Bible teacher. now I know that I was wrong, and that this religion does a lot of harm. Also, I am terminally ill (which is why it has taken me so long to reply), and I am using my remaining energy and time to try to make amends by speaking the truth. Not an obsession so much as a moral obligation. But thanks for the hostility. You help me to show that believing this fairy tale does NOT make people more loving or tolerant.
  • @Imaginefree69 They went out from among us because they were never truely of us. So basicaly you never were a Christian . According to the bible I'm sure you have read that verse. It's just like the part in Revelations Lord Lord, depart from me I never new you.

The only thing you proved was your obssesed with God an religion,I've had conversation with you along time ago, trust me I know you, what's sad is your ill, and will meet god shortly, second your waisting your time that's left

  • Awesome job and research!!

  • nice job man!!

  • Thank you and God Bless

  • see you in heaven

  • YES and thank God for his son Jesus that we have that opportunity

  • Ok so, the Old Testament was able to tell what will be written in the new testament... and what people would do by following what was written in the bible.

Like, Jerusalem was built where it is because everyone thought "hey, let's build Jerusalem on the location told by the Bible !". And it wasn't hard for the people who wrote the bible to follow the story of the old testament...

WAIT ! I AM GOD ! I can tell that I'm going to type a smiley, write at the end of my message !

    :D

  • Tell me then why was he born on the exact year the bible said? and why was he born in the exact city? then why did the priests offer Judas 30 pieces of silver if they didn't want people to believe? how then did Isaiah know his hands and feet would eventually be pierced? The Romans did that to him not his own. they had hundreds of ways too kill people how then did they say the exact method? If you read the bible enough you would know that many things were out of his Jesus' hands.

  • Because the Bible was written after those events happenned ?

  • your an idiot

  • your an idiot becuase the bible is real and everything is true about about it youl see sooner or later when he comes for his people

  • Pretty easy. The same reason. The authors of the new testament had read the old testament. They wrote what they thought would fulfill old testament prophecies. This isn't rocket science, if god wanted to impress us with prophecy why didn't he just devote a chapter to something know one could have possibly known at the time, like basic principles of math, physics, chemistry or maybe the structure of DNA or the idea that germs are the primary cause of disease? Oh that's right, the author couldn't.

  • the NT was hand written into 10,000+ manuscripts at a time when Christians and believing in Christ was punishable by death. why fake and die for something was a lie.

    Libraries & internet wasn't around.

Ppl thought the prophecies were inserted into the OT. they were proven wrong and the NT was verified, at the findings of the dead sea scrolls with money intact. no one tampered the scrolls because if someone tried to, the money would have been taken.

  • Really? None of you question the fact that these prophecies were written and shown as 'fulfilled' within the same book hundreds of years after they had apparently occurred? Nostradamus' predictions are more credible, in comparison. And on the same token, the Oracle of Ancient Greece's prophecy about Leonidas and the 300 dying came true - therefore, the Greek Gods are, without a doubt, true. C'mon. You're adults. It's time to stop believing in Santa Jesus.

  • well is there a book that has the same accuracy as the bible? please tell me if there is. the odds are overwhelming. this is why nobody can disprove the bible. Jesus is the messiah and he is the only way to heaven. If you don't accept him and you want to reject the bible what brought you to watch this video. over 2000 prophesies has been fulfilled please tell me how this could be without God's hand in it.

  • Yeah, there are books like that. Nostradamus' book has been pretty spot on accurate with hundreds of prophecies, on that note, all of which came true hundreds of years after he had written the prophecies. Unlike the Bible, where the prophecies were written about and then said to have been fulfilled within the same book, which people like you don't seem to grasp. It's almost like you think the Bible was written before 300 AD under Constantine.

  • Oh, and something else you might want to check in to. The Bible is composed of the four gospels it has for a reason; they were chosen because they were "Christian Philosophy 101." They weren't intended to be read as 100%, undeniable, literal fact. They were meant to be read in a philosophical and metaphorical sense. To add insult to injury, at least one of the apostles (Either John or Paul, I believe) was illiterate; he didn't write the gospel he is said to have written.

  • actually they are. The four gospels were written by four people and I believe two apostles were names John and if one was illiterate maybe he learned how to write later on or asked somebody else to write what he said. Besides all four books were written from a different point of view.

  • Fitting screen name. He didn't "learn how to write later on," and while it's possible he could have had a scribe write one or two of the letters for him, the majority of the letters (Romans, Levictus) come from time periods where the author would've been unable to write them, meaning someone else wrote them in his stead, using his name to push their own agendas. Just because you don't like the truth of the matter doesn't mean you can simply disregard it and have it no longer apply. Sorry.

  • ...... whatever

  • I'm not quite sure to whom you're referring as being illiterate, but many of the new testament books say specifically who wrote it as many of them are letters to churches and are in common letter format of that time.

  • I never said anyone was illiterate.

  • Can you quote verbatim one prophecy of Nostradamus that has been fulfilled? Although the writers of the Christian Bible could have fabricated connections to the Jewish Bible, one wonders what the motivation would have been. They lived at a time when they faced persecution from both the Jews and Romans for their beliefs. Why tell a pack of lies when your only reward is death? Why tell a pack of lies just to promote a high moral code? It is not logical.

  • whats that song called that starts at 4:30?? some tell me i wanna know!!

  • Its called "I can only Imagine" BY Mercy Me

  • thx and nice video 5 stars

  • I never said you were. I simply stated that I am not interested in any other source. If you want to look into pictographs then look into those of the time of Pharoah Ah Mose. The proof of his interactions with Moses and GOD is in those. As far as the venus and mercury and numerology stuff some believe in, I dont. Everyone has thier own belief and as long as it leads them to Christ & hence to GOD, its all good. :)

  • Try to get over it Dim, I believe The Bible is the accurate word of GOD (not osirus, or venus :P ). Nothing anyone could ever possibly say to me would change what I believe & that is that GOD is THE Almighty, Jesus is his son, who was sacrificed & died for us & the holy spirit is a part tho independant, of them both as well. I will not sit here & condemn other's beliefs, they have thier choices & Ive made mine. Ive seen my evidence & believe, so, Its all good :)

    - GOD Bless you :)
