@ChillyCloth Yes but Altair had a sanctuary to stay safe and prepare: Masyaf, as well as some other assassins fortresses he visited on the way to other assassinations. Ezio was by himself only to be backed by his family. Lets just call them equals, at the time period where the game is taking place for each character.

@hkzrmuchepic It's a trophy glitch. I never encountered it but it is a trophy glitch where the trophies have desynchronized from the game. You'll have to delete the entire data for AC2 and the HDD as well for it too.

so, how similar is this to Brotherhood? I had been watching Hank Green's Let's Play of that and was loving how the game seemed. Unfortunately AS which I picked up the other day didn't seem to be a whole lot like it(only four weapons, no money/upgrade system lowering the motivation to go for everything unless you're a 100%er (which I am xD) also no fun hammer to bash people with. Brotherhood will have a seemingly interesting multiplayer and the game itself looked great as well.. Hope it will come on to PC soon enough .. ^^

I have this game and love it. I've just done the bit with the 1st Assassin's tomb where you get the seal. I played so much and after another hour I got the YLOD! That's the third PS3 I've got from GAME to break. I've given up, I'm getting a 120/160GB tomorrow. It's a shame I have to use my PS2 now for my PS2 games. Sorry about changing the subject! I really do like this game though! I'll have to check out AC: Brotherhood.

I really liked the cities in the first AC because you go so rarely as far back as 1200AC in modern games. I felt like Jesus walking down the streets of Jerusalem and the scale of the city made this feel like I was actually there. I also liked to say Camelot instead of Acre because it had this grey color to it. Of course AC2 is great but it didn't blow my mind like the first one because it simply built on it rather than reinvented it.
