her legs and feet are amazing, but her arms are awwwful, and she doesn't have any expression....its weird. her feet and legs are better than mine when I was twelve, and I couldn't do double pique turns, but she realllllly needs to work on smiling and fixing her pancake hands.
hey people what do u mean by only 12, she onlyl has like 3 years to improve to get into a royal ballet school or whatever and looking at her stage (which is not good) shes no where near it.
You guys really need to watch more good people (at age 12) to really see that shes not that good.
She needs more feeling, needs to turn her feet out, and to tidy up everything a bit
She's good, but she's not dancing, she's doing the steps... dont know how to explain, but there are girls I cant keep my eyes of and she's certainly not one of them. it's not fluid, she has the technique but she would be better if she put some feeling in it and actually danced
@cocolinabt i agree. dancing comes from the soul, from what i see here she is merely just doing the steps. wtf shes not even smiling naturally! even if here technition is good its all wasted on the way she performs
She's really pretty good for 12! When I was 12 I was just starting pointe so keep up the good work and training. She just needs to work on her hands a little bit they're a little stiff. But otherwise great job!
I think that sometimes people think that flexibility is the most important thing in ballet and its not. She is so extremely flexible and she has great strong feet, but her turnout is not that good and there is no flow to her movements... even though this variation is choppy, there should never be a break in the movement.
Come one guys, shes a baby. with only room to grow and improve! I am sure she will! she seems to have over exteding ankles, and her shoes are doing something odd.
@secretme127 I think she means that ballet dancers should be artists a little bit moore than athletes. Theres no doubt that ballet takes strength, but art takes true emotion ^.^
Shes got a good split jump at the begiinning But shes HORRIBLE!!!! I 100% disagree with you in everyway. She doesnt look like an athlete at all. She looks horrible for an athlete.! She looks more smart at academic. NO way could she be successful in sports
shes good indeed, but her costume is wearing her instead of her wearing the tutu

Looks a bit stiff indeed, but considering her age I must say she's very good. She'll get better anyway.

@superballetlover dancers are supposed to be athletes.

@secretme127 i mean she seems not like a dancer... of course i know dancers are also athletes, but athletes are not a must to be dancers

I though that too, maybe she was very nervous. I do the same thing when I'm nervous, and then I can't dance well....

@superballetlover Have you ever seen Coppelia? It's a ballet about a doll. She's supposed to be stiff. She did this wonderfully.
pinksatinshoes24 7 months ago
@pinksatinshoes24 lol Swanhilda isn't the doll. She's a person, and is supposed to dance like one.

@pinksatinshoes24 not this variation

her arms aren't dancing at all and is she performing for the audience? Everything looks a little bit robotic.
