  • 02:41 Defeating the object of Jungle camo, no idiot would have worn it in in jungle combat. He'd be the first shipped off in a BB.

  • Yeah, we wondered why the guys flying the Hueys required us to wear the 'Blue Ascots of Death'. The only thing I could figure was they wanted an easy way to tell who was a member of the reenactment team. It did take away from the authenticity tho'

  • Though having said that some US Navy Seal and Macvsog special forces guys used to wear scarves like that and blue jeans. if you browse some photo galleries you'll see this. Also US Army boys wore white tshirts under their green uniform in combat exposing the top neck of the white tshirt. Anyway Loved the video and the noise of the huey taking off.

  • i live in FT.RUCKER ALABAMA and even though i see them every day ive never flew in one

  • My Dad was stationed at Ft. Campbell in 1969 before he was shipped out to Nam.I remeber seeing the huey's taking off all of the time. This brought back a very sad memory for me,but I loved that you posted it.

  • Damn I wish I could have been there with ya'll. I had drill, so there wasn't much I could do. Damn it feels good to be a reenactor!

  • I was there this weekend doing a WWII reenactment. How did you guys hook up doing Nam down there?
