Excellent. "Alan Partridge" is still with us - I thought Steve Coogan had dropped that particular persona years ago, but clearly not! He was spot-on at the Leveson Inquiry today.

Brilliant. Steve Coogan was on Newsnight last night, 12 October, and he absolutely savaged the Daily Mail. Paul Dacre had given a speech earlier on the day regarding the phone hacking scandal that was transmitted live in full by the BBC. He was essentially reading from a prepared script and badly at that. The speech was full of invective and pomposity yet at the same time was dull. His newspaper is always banging on about reading standards in schools as well. Back to school Mr Dacre.
