Unless we fix all the income inequality in this world there will always be religion. You your taking it out of context again... but your somewhat right if the lady is betrothed and rape and cries out for help (meaning that it was not consent) then the offender shall be put to death because she has done nothing wrong.. but Yes if the woman is a virgin and is raped and FOUND then the man is compelled to marry her because he has violated her honor... They made the offender marry the virgin because everyone else know she is not a virgin anyone, so no one would want her..
