@HellGS Well , though we DON`T see ANY Physical Wings in The Film ( POSSIBLY BECAUSE of The Low Budget and POSSIBLY BECAUSE They thought The Imagery WOULDN`T work in such A Dark Film , MAYBE BOTH ), Wings ARE referred to ( Uriel says " Sammael forced Amitiel to give up her wings and work as A Hooker " ) and towards The End , Gabriel shoots The Corrupted Michael who , to keep from falling off The Building , outstretches his Arms as if his Wings are holding him up !

Well, there was nothing said about God in this movie; Gabriel referred to Grace, he talked "they" so... it`s not quite accurate statement, but I get the point. I don`t think his death could served such a purpose - to make someone to remember what`s happened, he need to be alive for that :) Anyway, I glade you like this vid and its so nice to meet someone why cares about this great movie.

@HellGS Um , God was mentioned : as " The Source " of The Arcs ! Satan`s " The Source " of The Fallen ! I wonder if Satan in this Continuity is The REAL Sammael ( the one Michael killed for " clipping Amitiel`s wings " ) ! It WOULD make sense as Michael`s generally considered Satan`s Banisher !

God wasn`t mentioned in this movie not just once, so wasn`t Satan, easiest way to check it - to look into subs which I did, you know, 'just in case'. Also, Shane Abbes said himself specifically that he didn`t mean any actual religion in his movie. The source of Arcs was called The Grace, as for Fallen there wasn`t any specific word for the sours of their power. In the text at the beginning of the movie the sources were called Light and Dark.

@HellGS And , yes it`s true though The Film used Judeo-Christian and Zoroastrian Names for The Angels , they took Elements of Buddhism , Jainism and New Age Philosophy for The Plot which is why God and Satan DIDN`T appear NOR WERE THEY EVER DIRECTLY NAMED ! However , they WERE SLYLY ALLUDED TO SEVERAL TIMES ! :

Uriel : They ( God and The Angelic Heirarchy ) never warned us about this place .

You see, I think he didn`t kill himself, he fell from Grace and became not The Arc but something else, human perhaps in order to stay in Purgatory, in order not to forget what had happened their. In alternate ending he came back to Jade and he`s angelic tattoos are missing.

Yeah , Michael definitely still had some good in him . I think when he shouted " They were weak ! " , he was justifying his actions to himself as much as to Gabriel .
