  • hahaha, nice choice of music.

  • symptoms of starfish ingestion include:

    * swanky music from nowhere

    * blinking black and white

    * invincibility

    see also: mushroom ingestion

  • I actually saw 2 seagulls standing on the same dock and both had their own starfish. THe trick is they hold in their mouth until the starfish goes more limp and is easier to swollow. i actually watched one get eaten. the legs were jabbing out of the neck it was nasty. looked uncomfortable for the gull.

  • HAHHA this is too funny!!!

  • *S* Glad you like it. . .it was one of those moments that will probably not happen again.

  • nothing eats starfish, god wanted them to be uneatable so they can keep the clam population down.

  • O, gimme a break. LOL. Western Gulls can and often DO eat starfish. They do hold them until the starfish become limp enough to swallow. Having seen the 'casting pellets' (indigestible remains) of many gulls, I've also seen, besides fish scales and bones, the hard casings of pieces of Pisaster ochreus in them as well.

  • Hahahaha! This is GREAT! At first I thought the surprise human was a big turtle!! I love gulls!

  • Thanks, graydlett. . .talk about an impromptu moment. . .my friend Mic was just tooo funny :)
