  • RIP

  • Truckers are some of the worst and careless drivers out on the road

  • @despain79 no most of us are quite safe drivers there are a few who give the rest a bad name 81% of car vs truck accidents are the fault of the driver of the car not the truck and those are the federal dot numbers not some ambulance chaseing attorney who tels you you gonna be rich cause you cut off an 80,000 pound truck that takes 300yards to completely stop on flat dry & level pavement at 55mph thats if you dumb ass lives the collect

  • @despain79 my guess is tht ur one of those teen age wanna be rice burnner street racers tht think they know how to drive because they're a pro driver on Xbox.. I wonder how you'll do when u grow up an have to drive for real..

  • @despain79 Your so full of SHIT look at the stats bitch WE are the most safest on wheels out here, sure there MIGHT be a few that fuck it up for the good drivers.

Just read the stats then come back and shoot your punkass mouth off,I BET YOU WON'T..

  • @despain79 Oh PS go blow your candles out...lmfao!!

  • @despain79 It's not the truck drivers it's the stupid people driving the 4 wheelers that don't have any idea how long it takes an 80,000 pound truck to stop!!!!

  • Why are there no rails under the trailer like here in Europe?

  • Bad camera man, don´t film that close! The point is to film to see what happend.

  • I'm assuming thats the transmission that exploded during impact. Be safe, thankfully there wasn't a car inbetween.

  • these guys sure are hard on their equipment

  • nice to see the fithwheel and kingpin didnt crush the dumbass following to close

  • What an ass but if you must know, he was not following. He passed out and did not see the trucks stop at the light. He hit the first semi at around 55 mph.

  • Indy.. Sorry dude.. I appoligize, and I really do mean it...It takes alot for me to applogize for my fuck up..

  • thats why he's an ex! I have a guy that is 10000 times better now.

  • to think my ex almost killed me the same way in chicago.

  • seems like a great ex

  • its not easy being a truck driver and most of the time its not there fault, but some truck drivers are at fault

  • PAY ATTENTION SIMPLE AS THAT.

  • DAMN!!!

  • What happened to that rig?

  • It would cost more to rebuild this tractor then it cost new. So it was sold as junk.

  • IndyRacer57, just how in the hell would you know what they did?? Do ya work for the company? if not, quit making assumptions... Most of the bigger trucking companies out here WILL NOT SELL OR SCRAP OUT A TRUCK THAT HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN A FATALITY ACCIDENT!!!

  • How do I know? He was a friend of mine and YES I did work for the company and they did two the tractor back to our yard and it was scraped out because it would take more to fix it then a new one cost. Anymore question?

  • @Policedispatcher29

No reason to save that truck.. Recycle it and be done with it.. A semi car head on will not make the truck damaded enough for sell or scrap.. That's just nothing worth keeping on to .. Unless you want to keep it by the gate to keep your drivers sharp..

  • @Hoolie2899

Yeah really, I'm sure if they saw that before leaving the yard they'd think twice before taking their eyes off the road.

  • @Hoolie 2899 It was sold for scrap. The price was greater the the price of the truck.

  • @IndyRacer57 Thought so..

  • That goes both ways douchebag......Get off the phone and drive

  • One less tailgater on the road. My condolences to the family of this person but, see what comes out of poor driving habits

  • someone drove in front of him and then hit the brakes

  • And people wonder why I get upset with them when they move in front of me too soon.

  • excatly! he's too close...

  • you're too close son! can't see what happened...

  • ouch....

  • His name was Mike and he drove for Marsh out of Indianapolis, In. Plongeur2000 is right. He died on impact. Mike will be missed by his follow driivers and friends.

  • He had friends?

  • i've seen worse... but not many

  • can you explain what i'm looking at? it's really confusing

  • a day cab tractor trailor that ate the trailor of another tractor trailor

  • Okay....

  • oh boy the cab is gone omfg

  • What exactly happend? I cant tell.

  • i would really love to hear you explain how this is fake!

  • Sorry this was not fake...i was stop on a red light on US24 in Defiance Ohio and another semi hit me in the back at full speed 50 mph the driver look like he was looking for something on the floor on passenger side he was lying in the crashed cab...he pushed my truck 75 feet and i hit the truck in front of me very lightly i had no injuries and i feel very lucky to be alive today....

  • My worst fear as a professional driver.........someone else's mistake!

  • Yeah, I fear someone else's mistake every time out on the road. Thats why I had to got a big life insurance policy.

    48 ST o/o trainer.

  • ok how is this fake...?

  • ouch!!!!!!!!

  • Seems be a pileup.

  • i feel sorry for the truckies family, R I P

  • at the start of the vid is there a horse leg or somthing (fluffy wite thng)

  • i thought it was a chicken...

  • O.e we will say its a horse/chicken xD

  • check out my brutal violent videos there sick

  • r i p the driver

  • i dont get it r u on my side

  • damn u c the pumpkin on that bitch???for all them dumbass city boys a pumpkin is a gear box

  • for all them dumbasses that dont know shit a pumpkin is a third member (the center section of a rear axle)

  • Damn, you guys read josh's dumb ass comment? Makes you look like a retard when you grammar is shit and you say how dumb other people are.

  • it took me a while to figure out what happened...but holy hell! that is one of the worst accidents that i've ever seen. how fast was that driver going to completely anhilate the cab of his truck? did he fall asleep?

  • Karmulkor somebody said he passed out from the damge that is done he hit approx 55-60 wasnt tailgating the other truck was stopped and he hit it at hwy speed

  • Somebody wasnt paying attention.

  • This happen in August 2 years ago. The driver was killed. They brougt the engine and transmission back in pieces in a box. The driver will be missed by many, he was based in Indianapolis, IN and wroking for Marsh supermarkets.

  • 1:00 thts big peice of gearbox

  • Always sad to see Trucker's Heaven take one.

  • fk thats a wreck ima truck driver n seeing things like that make me think is it worth dieing just 2 make a living ...? well thats wot we do 4 our wife n kids. thats how we pay the bills .

  • they are talking about making 70 footers imaging that driving that in a city lol

  • To defend the truck manufacturers, these trucks (and busses) are well capable of beating 80 mph even on cruise. It's the trucking companys that set the speed limitation, endangering the driver, to save fuel!!!!!

  • Man, that is SAD. Trucking accidents are caused mostly by cars doing stupid things, like going in front of a semi, slamming on the brakes, and kills! It is a sad thing that happens!!!

  • don't call stupid or anything but did the truck hit a car or wall or what?

  • in the video you can see the truck ate the trailer of another truck.

  • any rig drivers want to comment on the drivers on I10 threw alhambra san gabriel rosemead. how do you like those 0-60 when i feel like it drivers ????

  • xtoyracer only a dumbass would be racing on the hwy besides are you getting paid to do 0-60 whenever you feel like it? I doubt it to us proffesional drivers its not how fast you get there its how safe you get there.

  • The fact is that mile for mile, truck drivers are the safest drivers on the road. Also, a lot of truck accidents are caused by cars. And I would submit that trucks going 50 mph would cause more accidents than it would reduce. Anyone who would suggest that has obviously never been behind the wheel of a big truck.

  • nailed it 100%

  • you forget the interstate system was made for truck transport, not cars.

  • no it wasnt. they had cars before they had trucks. everythign was hauled on a train or boat. learn yor history before you comment.

  • no learn yours. facilitating commercial transportation and ground transport routes for military supplies and troop deployments in an emergency was why it was created.

if trucks were restricted to only 50 m.p.h.

transportation of goods would increse dramaticly thus the cost to the consumers would also. as well as making the roads less safe, not safer. don't forget the vast majority of car/truck accidents are the automobile drivers fault.

  • wph1138 look your history up Eisenhower had the interstate system built first and foremost so the military could go across country in a timely manner. Second so commerce of goods could be gotten across faster theres not a railroad or a river that goes everywhere. Trucks have been around almost as long as cars they just was not as big.

  • truck drivers do have there own set of rules and they are held to a higher standard than regular drivers, but if you have never been a professional driver you wouldn't know what im talking about. I can %100 guarantee that if you ever went O.T.R. your opinion about truck driving would completely change and you would have the up most respect for what they do. oh and yes the interstate was original built for heavy trucks NOT cars

  • Thats pretty stupid, a 50 mph limit while 4wheelers get to go 70+. If they were to do that ,then all vehicles should have speed limiters not just the semi's. Lets see how you would like to do a long haul trip at 50 mph.

  • The federal government already limits our size. If trucks are limited more just imagine how much more everything will cost because it will take even more trucks to carry the same amount of cargo...

  • Truck drivers or women on their cell phones?...Safe driver behind the wheel of a heavy vehicle vs. an idiot on their phone with no regards to anyone around them.

  • The problem is mainly the other asshole motorists on the roads. I see it all the time in NY small cars and mini vans cutting off tractor trailers. These losers think they can win against the trucks or something. They don't understand apparently that a semi going 50 mph then slamming on the brakes isn't going to stop anytime soon.

  • True True....

  • If this is 24 anywhere within 40 miles of the Indiana.....This road is really bad road. Curvy and lots of truckers on it. And the truckers tailgate you even if you have 5 cars in front of you going the same speed. Like tailgating is going to make the 5 cars in front of you go faster.

They even tailgate other truckers. That's probably what happened here. Truckers also like to go 75 on the interstate when its fucking freezing rain out. They never learn. Darwin at work.

  • Sorry to hear such negativity. I am the owner of a medium sized trucking company. Occasionally, will take a truck out myself just for something different. You seem to suggest that truck drivers are the only ones who tailgate. Next time you are driving, please take notice of the number of cars tailgating trucks and visa versa. I have been involved in the trucking industry probably more years tha you have been alive. I wish it was possible for you to ride along in a truck and witness for yourself

  • what truck drivers have to put up with day after day. I assume you have a commute to work every day. Long or or short, I bet you get a little ticked off at other motorists (cars or trucks, doesn't matter). Now, imagine this frustration for 10 to 12 hours day after day. We both agreed that more and more truck drivers are lacking courtesy. Some reasons for this are many new immigrants to this country start out by driving trucks.

  • Another is stricter D.O.T. and logbook regulations and more traffic than ever to deal with. Most drivers you encounter on a daily basis are paid by the mile and not by the hour. Logbooks allow truck drivers only a certain amount of hours that they can opperate. Put two and two together.

Back to the tailgating... whether I am in my car or truck, there is constantly another car just feet from my bumper. It is a rare occasion that a big rig will get THAT close, unless it is at an intersection.

  • Just a closing note, a national motor vehicle report claims that in collisons between cars and semi trucks, 80% percent are caused by the driver of the car. Since my company pays close to 1.3 million a month to covver all out our trucks, we pay attention to statistics like that. Courtesy is contagious.

  • ca tu arriver a toi copain tjb

  • 0.40 organ and stuff?

  • bye bye cemi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • If that is the car underneath the big rig, then I don't think the people suffered much; Still, horrible way to die

  • it's collision between front truck and trailer.

    without car.

    sad

  • I think this trucker would have been fucked with or without his seat belt.

  • Wow so at the time of this recording the front truck and trailer had already been pulled forward about 3 feet to gain access to the dead driver in truck number two. How terrible for that poor person. Male or female very sad way to die.

  • why does this remind me of the matrix?

  • I saw one on I-80 in Indiana that looked just like this.

  • at first i thought i was there but ive seen a bad truck crash going to ohio

  • that's one of the worst rearends i've saw

  • which is why truck drivers can get away with not wearing their seatbelts. if they do, it keeps then in the "crush zone."

  • i already know that joke gosh. give it a break will ya!

  • witch trucks witch ahahhaha lol.

  • Findest Du das so witzig? Wie krank bist Du denn, um so einen Kommentar zu schreiben?

  • ok ... ich nicht bekommen, aber dann im nicht gut mit Witzen und alle das Zeug O.e

  • why does youtube ppl have to post mean and violent videos about dying MAN THATS JUST FRIGGIN RONG!!!

  • I'm not so sure it's Wrong. Sobers me up to not be so careless driving.

  • following too close?

  • knob!

  • jesus !be with them

  • fishing the driver out there must really suck

  • worst part of the job

  • no just the 2 trucks.

  • is / was there a car wedged in there too?

  • azt a qrva!

  • ummm ow

  • fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!

  • joking

  • awesome

  • the back rig was flying! the gear box is on the gruond! and the whole truck is demolish! gone!

  • Show us the whole accident! Why do all video cameras seem to fall into the hands of complete jackasses?

  • did somehin fall off a bridge above it and land on it? or what? how the hell did that happern? cos if you just drove into somethin that would not happern

  • The truck in the back ran into the truck in front of him!!!!!!!!!! Trucks unlike cars are not made to take much of an impact and when your being pushed from behind by possibly 30 tons worth of trailer/load into about 40 tons of truck trailer and load there is not much of a reason why it had to be something else.

  • Just read the Plongeur's remarks - Driver did die. That is unfortunate.

Sleeping behind the wheel is not the only way this can happen. Beside stupidity, heart Attack or diabetic coma could cause the same thing. I look back on my years driving trucks and count myself blessed.

  • BTW That looks like crushed transmission bits under the drive axles.

    Did this driver survive???

  • dude zoom out! u cant even see wut happened

  • that will buff right out

  • o mama that must have been interesting...in a disgusting eerie creepy and deadly way.

  • dang it sounded like the refer on that frieghtliner was still running

  • harm about the nice trucks...

  • Was that a Freightliner?? Flat front ones

  • yes it was shows u teh power of a simi truck and how u would not wanna f**k with one imagine one hitting a person they rip deer clean apart

  • dang that sucks my dad is a truck driver and he sees a lot of this crap on the road

the other day he saw a car that went under a big rig and the people in the car were decapited

  • Semi's are dangerous ? How about the fact that in most accidents like these the driver with serious injury (the one that ran in from rear) was simply too fast and too close for the conditions, and when something caused the one in front to stop, he couldn't . . . ttry redesigning drivers too !

  • i know how we can redesign them get transformers to drive them.....duece lol

  • lol

  • now where in the hell did i put that snickers bar? i could swear it was...oh shiiiiit!!!!!!!!

  • lol,I get it.

  • did they even find the driver's leftovers in that pile of metal??

  • XD kinda morbid but well put!!

  • damn i cant see any damn thang if u dont zoom out

  • semi-trailers need to be completely redesigned. They're unsafe for everything to run into.

  • Redesign a semi? hmmmmmm. Maybe we should use Prius's to haul those heavy loads.

  • If this is a reply to my comment let me clear up any confusion. I said Redesign Semi-Trailers! Yeah Semi's are to large and most of them are fucking old as hell in run down condition. They also need to regulate the amount of polution coming out of them. Heavy diesel weren't required to clean their exhaust until last year. International has done something about it.

  • You are an UNEDUCATED DOUCHE! the trucks on the road are on average NEWER than the average age of autos on the road today. mostly because of heavy strict guidelines set forth by the DOT.

  • the life of a prime mover is very short doing heavy work for the very reason the costs of running older rigs is too great for fleets and owner drivers if the rig is looked after the rig would last its just how you treat your machine

  • You dumb fuck Maybe we should build them out of styrofoam? Learn to drive and stay away from them

  • This is a scary ass video. alot of ppl think that semi driver's always walk away but this video totally proves how dangerous it really is in the cab of a semi.

  • thats fu*ked up

  • Poor bastard. At least it must of been quick. No way anyone in that truck survived.

  • the 1st semi was stopped at a red light the 2nd semi with the smashed in cab lost all break systems fluid was bursting and slammed into the trailer of the 1st semi it was eiding the eade of the yellow line..!

  • Trucks don't use brake fluid, they have air systems for braking

  • some trucks have air over hydraulic brakes..and some have full air brakes

  • No class 8 tractor-trailer has hydraulic over air. They are all full air brake systems.

  • semi's have air brake systems - no hydraulics

  • holy fuckin shit, i hope that guy lived i mean omg omg im shocked, sheesh i use to be a trucker, wow

  • this is the very horrible accident, espero que the truck driver no haya dead :s...los riesgos de nuestra profesion...danger in the rout...

  • was there a car between them??

  • yes-obviously!

This highway can be really dangerouse to begin with! I heard guys talking about it on the radio two days after it happened-WOW!

The road goes back from two lane to four lane all the way through and at that time there was alot of construction. Looks like he was going too fast and following too close. Remember it when you're under a hot load! Following distance gets ignored alot, but it's so important in our industry! Drive safe my friends!

  • did any body die in this wreck

  • ummmm...the headline does say "deadly semi truck crash"

  • i wonder what the corpse looked like ?

  • Whats that number on the back...little closer...too close!

  • This is the real deal! These are people supporting their families! This isn't a joking matter! Much love to my brothers and sisters out here on the big road DOING THAT DEAL! I LOVE YOU ALL, BE SAFE, GOD BLESS US ALL!

  • It looked to me that one semi was probably at a complete stop and the other one plowed into the back of it not necessarily anything to do with being cut off its sux to rear end another semi when your driving a cabover i cant imagine anyone survived in the cabover

  • Where's all the dead bodies?

  • I'd imagine in the front of the cargo container

  • we trie to leave about a 6 to 10sec space between us in traffic think about that the next time u cut off a truck. Also when we put on the left turn signal we we need that lane for safty.

  • if the driver alive, then he would be the luckiest person in the world.
