  • This is a JK flip-flop acting as a T flip-flop since you make both the J and K at high(redstone powered) meaning it is at toggle mode. Now if there is any way to compact this to a small area in minecraft :|....

  • @SakuraiKunLikes Yes I put both j and k high so you can see it acting as a proper JK (acting as a clock). As for getting it smaller, I've been able to, but it's not much smaller.

  • This is T flip-flip...

  • @YoshiEnDiamant No, it's not.

  • so a JK flip-flop is a changeable latch as well as a clock. Also it can't be called an RS latch because that would be making it's name describe something else.

  • @maribakumon Yup, a JK flip flop is just an SR with and gates to regulate switching. If you know about SR latches you know that if by chance you happen to power both S and R at the same time, it produces an indeterminable result. The JK adds the ability to check the other half of the latch before it switches. As a result a constant signal on both S and R will result in oscillation as only one can be high at a time, once one goes low it switches. BTW I didn't name it RS latch, others did.

  • @paintballingguy I know you didnt name it RS but I was just saying if it's called RS it's different from RS NOR

  • @maribakumon, oh for sure. It's really just an SR latch. They call it RS for redstone. Confusing for sure, but only to those who understand logic circuits. :)

  • Lol, nice..

  • Great Video! Never hearf of JK FF but ill use it :)
