I know you said no advice... but if thats solid- or even thick, let it dry for several weeks. Something that delicate will crack easily. The key to any project is to let it dry long and slow. Moisture is what kills ceramics.

I would leave it grey, though you have probably already finished. The grey gives it a sense of mystery and leaves it up to your imagination to finish.

how did you do that and how long did it take you, and where's your high school

I use the applica method. Basicly, I just shaped the pieces and kept them moist until I put them together. It took about three weeks off and on. I only worked on it during school so I'd say about 16 hours total work time. My high school is in Meridian, Mississippi.
