Cadbury Eggs (Cadbury Bunny) - 1980s

A story I heard was... 2 sisters were playing outside in their farm in somewhere in Europe during Easter week. They saw a rabbit next to a nest of chicken eggs and it ran off. Being children, they thought that the bunny had left them the eggs as a present... They ran back home to tell their mother and said "Mommy, the Easter Bunny left us some Easter Eggs, come and look". So that the story I heard awhile ago... I think it's a cute one....

i love rabbits, i used to have 2 of them as pets in my yard. I cried when my dad lol... got rid of them, i asked about them for years.. thanks for the vids.. I see you LOVE wabbits.. I have a cat now... Meow....

I remember watching some special saying that it was from Jesus turning a bird into a rabbit, but the rabbit still laid eggs. so I think that's why.

OMG! I have looked for this one for years. My Mother had recorded a program on video tape when this was new. We were sitting on the edge of her bed watching the tape and this commercial came on. We spent probably 15 minutes playing it over and over in hysterics sliding off the bed in laughter. We still talk about it. The elephant bunny just did us in.

@yallyallyallyall - Oh I'm telling you, we were CRYING we were laughing so hard. Somehow that tape got lost or errased and we were miffed about that because this commercial was a keeper even back then. Now you see the Cadbury bunny every season and you are numb to it but this was the first time and it was hysterical! Kind of like "Where's The Beef." I'm mean it got old after awhile but when it was new was just lost it laughing.
