yeah chanters cannot be compared to word of warcraft, they are too unique of a class

ehh too much aion seems to have spilt up the roles of the support class to buffs the enchanter and the main healers the cleric

i like the whole idea of giving the healing class chain amour so they can tank a lil bit and not be squishy

I would say, that Chanter doesnt even look smilar to paladin. If Aion has a hybrid class, wich happens to be "holy" you automaticly compare it to Paladin? Chanters cant tank (attleast well), chanters dont have heaviest armor, chanters use staffs primaly. Yeah yeah, Pala and Chanter are both buffers, but I would say, that Chanter is kinda unique compared to Paladin. Every class in every game have similar stuff, so you just cant run around saying "Copied from WoW".

At lvl50 chanter use rage spell(30 min buff) + invincibility mantra = +30% physical attack buff XD

templar is good at tank so its good pick...gladis hit very hard and xp nice...chanters got buffs and hit nice and go healing...rangers do good dmg and attack from a far with good evasion....assassin is lethal and fast...sorc has good dmg and awesome skills...SM got pets and does good dmg...and clerics got awesome heal and some good dmging attacks...thats why aion rocks...every class got its special method of awesomeness ;)

Chanters doesnt attack this fast.....hes fully buffed with attack speed and other attack stuff and farming lowbies. Chanters dps is just almost topping the templar dps even though hes tank. Out of all Assasin does more dps/ damage

Actually hes farming Calydons which are lvl 49s. And with full +26% attack speed gear chanters attack pretty fast.

chanters are easy to solo with... because youre a healing class, low downtime between mobs. you have some decent moves with staves, and youre wearing mail so high physical defenses.

With the right buffs/stigmas, a chanters DPS is decently high, like you see here obviously.

a chanter has decent dps but its not exactly a dps class even with buffs... not to mention some of those buffs have huge reuse time. he/she is killing lower lvls mobs, i usually kill higher lvls.

Its simple really, a hotkey players can perform up to 9 actions at any given time instantly while moving with autorun and mouselook.

A clicker can move, and use about 2 actions with the left hand while moving, and 5 with his mouse. On top of that the they can't not pan while initiating abilites, have to rely on slow keyboard turning which takes away more left hand function and on top of that clicking skills takes more time then keyboard input. Add in flight taking 2 keys and they slow down more

i think sticking w/ clicking is better though i tend to do some keybind, it a mix but mostly clicking. ur theory just make me wanna click instead of keybind, since clicking is way easier than what u just explain it to be. but thx tho :P

the meaning is that clickers are slower and keybinders are faster anyway....clickers can be fast too but u got to have pretty good precision and a fast hand...

Check out the link from description, there you can find the original poster :). All I can tell you from what I can see is that mobs have white (or grey) names and they drop things so they probably have 0 -> 5 lvls lower.

you Cannot compare it :-) Chanter is a Frontline Fighter with Auras and Heals :-)
