i learned that if you upload the movie file straight from the camera without editing it with imovie then it does not show up as widescreen on youtube.
but at the same time if you upload the raw file then you can use the HIGH QUALITY feature to view it on youtube, once you run it through imovie then the HQ feature is no longer available.
any thoughts on how to get the HQ feature to be available after its been through imovie?
how do you get it to be widescreen after you add the videos to your computer? i shot in widescreen but they come up as 4:3 on my computer. please help!!!
I made it! I used the following software, ImageMixer to "covert" to widescreen, and it was a easy thing to do. First I thought only movieclips directley from the camera was possible to edit, but I was wrong. Just drag the clip from your harddrive into the storyboard and thats it. A two minutes-clip is done in five seconds.
The color shift is due to a switch from auto to manual white balance. I used a white shirt in the room as the basis for "white" and it gives the rest of the lighter colors a bluer hue. I switch back at a certain point, I think, the orange's skin is intensely vivid in some later close-ups.
