Real crying shame we will never get a viewtiful joe 3 because of the popularity of 2D franchises haven't been selling well in the modern gameing market, even rocket knight 2010 sold badly on xbox live :(

If capcom gets more fans asking for a VJ3 then they will do it but there gonna need about say between 50,000 or 100,000 requests for it to happen.... Its a guess but its true if people don't show much interest in the series then it will die.

@DaFunk14 It would rightfully belong on a Nintendo console, seeing as that's where the series had its first game (the PS2 VJ1 was a port but with Dante). The Nintendo systems have also seen one more VJ game than Sony (Double Trouble for the DS; PSP only had Red Hot Rumble, which was on the Gamecube).

However, if Dante is not allowed on a Nintendo release (DMC's multiplatform now, so that wouldn't make much sense) then by all means release it on a Sony system instead.

i HATED the clone boss fights and then Fire leo it made me give up the game for like 7 months. finally i picked it back up and played expecting that to be the last level but TA DA i was suddenly playing star wars episode 7: loss of the light saber

But Man that game kicked ass

only downside was first time i played

i kept feeling like my life was slowing down and speeding up it was weird but eventually as i played more it left so im not complainin

I have this for ps2 and it was a GReAT fighting side scroller! It was a good length and it had some difficult bosses, plus you could unlock new characters to play as like dante from devil may cry. Which gives you a sword and a gun, but you pretty much control him the same. The cut scenes have different dialouge though so it is intresting to play through as someone else!
