There can be no president of the Free state while six counties are still in enemy hands.Ireland cannot be truly recognised as a Republic until unification ! Can Michael D do anything about this ? ps I was not entitled to a vote because your "FREE"state sold out my part of MY Ireland !
@adyseven1 Of course Michael D can do something about this - but it will take work from both the North and the South to reach unification. And in order for that to happen, both countries need to be stable and strong, first. We're not ready for something like Martin McGuinness' New Republic yet - the crisis over the Euro needs to be made stable, and ALL of Ireland needs to have strong positive growth, first, before there can be a union.
Think Michael D and Sibena will be great for Eire .A Statesman ,good intellect ,big heart .He doent do things just cause they look good ,a real person .God bless him and Eire always .

Michael D will make a fine president , but what a shite song, The saw Doctors are one of the most over rated bands Ireland's ever produced.
They would be fine playing for a bunch of pissed farmers on a friday night
