this is completely off from what veronica mars was for the past three seasons. don't get me wrong, I LOVEEE the veronica mars series but where's the noir element in this trailer? Why didn't the creators finish up with Veronica's education at Hearst? why is the show going in a completely new direction in terms of plot and cinematography? Of course, this is only a trailer and maybe all the questions will be answered. The biggest thing that bothers me is just that the mood/tone is not even the same

I watch this clip every 6 months or so and every time I have the same excited frustration at the fact that it never had a chance. Very few shows about high school successfully transition to life after graduation, but this one totally would have rocked!

I hate the fact they never made season 4 go through... But maybe it is for the best since no answers appear to be answered to some events made in Season two and three. It made me sad to see that we never got to see after the ending of Season 3, nor do we get to know what happened the reat of her life from that point on to now, in the FBI. I wish they still made a season four. I loved this show. I wish Veronica and Logan stayed together, and that he never cheated on her <.<...

Since the network didn't seem to want another season of VM in college, Rob decided to do the show from a different angle. They made this "sample episode" as a last attempt to get the CW to renew the show. Unfortunately it wasn't picked up.
