Let us praise our beloved JESUS <3 for in him is the crown of everlasting life.

  • I called out for God to help me, (if there even was a God, as wasnt sure), and lo and behold there Jesus stood before me and helped me. That was 25yrs ago, and ever since His amazing visit I've known it was ALL 100% TRUE that Jesus was and is REAL. PRAISE JESUS LORD ABOVE ALL

And I’ll love Thee in death,

    I’ll praise Thee as long

    As Thou lendest me breath;

And say when the death dew

    Lies cold on my brow,

If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus ’tis now.

  • Do you know what I hate when everyone decides that they will search these good songs and make bad comments thumbs up if you agree

  • "jesus i hate thee.." believe it or not but everyone who is not saved says the same thing even if they don't say it with their mouth. Repent and believe daily

Thanks for this lovely song... I keep listening to this always.. and remembering the Love of my Jesus to me.

  • One of my Mom's favorite hymns. When we girls get together this is still the first song we usually sing together because the range is small and the harmony easy and smooth and we can still sing it even though our voices are 'much older'. ;-) Our whole family was music and it held us together over the miles and through the years. God bless you as you listen to this sweet rendition.

  • Pray for the Christians who are being persecuted throughout the world

  • @giwdulle Funny thing is God still loves you. I will be praying for you. You obviously have a lot of hate and hurt in your heart.

  • Jesus died upon a cross for our sins. I love Jesus with all my heart.

  • Christians unite and stand tall! Love the cross, help your brothers in need!

  • @greg0225 that was pretty good, huh?

  • somehow, it sounds more beautiful (in my opinion) with just the voices.

  • as a child i recall an olddddddd song leader saying that if God did not want all the verses of a song to be sang He would not have given them to the author....to that i say AMEN...Danny...heipledw@yahoo.con

  • we just burried my grandpa on Wednesday Sept 15th and sang this song as we said goodbye. It was one of his favourites, and it now has a stronger meaning to me then it did before. What a beautiful song, what beautiful meaning. Miss you Grandpa. xoxo

  • @unrealshrimp

If you don't like the song don't be a troll and get lost. Repent and come to Jesus, otherwise you'll be deep fried battered shrimp in the fires of God's wrath.

  • @gneisenau321 theres not such thing as hell lol

  • @unrealshrimp

Learn how to spell "no" before you make a bold claim such as that.

  • @gneisenau321 its called a typo dumb fucker

  • @unrealshrimp

Shrimp, I have better things to do than talk to you. Shouldn't you be out getting filtered out of the water and eaten by a baleen whale or something?

  • @gneisenau321 shouldnt you be praising "jesus"

  • Leviticus 25:44 states that I may possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can someone please clarify? Why can't I own Canadians?

  • Hello youtube, when I play this song My Jesus, I Love Thee I really almost cry so touch by Jesus like Jesus is so innocent God & yet Jesus must go through this for us. Jesus must take this for us at calvay & also in John 14:6 Jesus is the way, the trurh, & the life no one comes to the Father acxept tohrough me. I really cannot control my cry I realy love Jesus so much Jesus is everything to me. I really do wish Jesus come back I want Jesus to come back..

     Sue

  • right now...

  • My grandma Sings this song And i love it too!

  • To Mr.Commerscate: I would like to say to you that if God told us much about it (the stars) we with our finite minds would not understand what's said.If you are going to get anywhere with God, you are going to have to assume that he exists. Then you will have understanding. However the Bible does say let us reason together.God bless you in your search to find God.If you seek HIM with ALL your HEART, HE will be found.

  • Heel mooi lied en prachtig gezongen!

  • My favourite hymn since childhood!

  • So, why did they leave out verse 3? "I've loved Thee in life, I will love Thee in death. And praise Thee as long as Thou lendest me breath. And say when the death dew lies cold on my brow, if ever I loved Thee, my Jesus, 'tis now."

  • @chalkbrd I would ask that as well...seems these days we always have to leave out verses of hymns because nobody has time or patience to get the whole story. What a shame. Most churches leave out verses too so they have more time for "praise songs."

  • te amo Señor jesús

  • I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. I play the piano and organ. Today (March 14), I played this for Sunday School Assembly.

  • Beautiful

  • Beautiful Song

  • The Justice of the Cross is forever satisfying to God!

  • Christianity: the belief that a cosmic Jewish zombie who was his own father can make you live forever in paradise if you symbolically eat his flesh drink his blood and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a woman made (by himself as his father) from the rib of the only man on earth and a mound of dirt was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree. yeah that makes sense!

  • @success2k ......" For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day."

  • @tcalcut... yeah that's what i said

  • "He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him."

  • I said that too

  • " But God commends his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. "

  • @tcalcut... you quote the bible well.. when do you develop your own thoughts?

  • "My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts," says the LORD. "And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. "

  • so if you only quote the bible when do you start looking at the quotes that it should be condemned by? "And he [Elisha] went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head. And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the LORD. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them."

  • " These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the fulfillment of the ages has come. "

  • and there you have it folks... god is an unapologetic murderous monster

  • " I tell you, No: but, except you repent, you shall all likewise perish. "

  • Outstanding!!!

  • awsome

  • I love this beautiful hymn and it doesn't matter who sings it or who sings it better we only have to think that it's a lovely song of praise for our Dear and beloved Saviour amen

  • i have pimples alllll ooovverrr my face!! if i pray to jesus will he make them go away before the big dance?!?!

  • yes He will, if u believe and do not doubt

  • @commerceskate ....." Jesus told them. "I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it would move. Nothing would be impossible."

  • well that is obviously a metaphor, because literally speaking that would be impossible. but if it is trying to convey the message that "anything is possible if you put your mind to it" then cool i guess..haha.

for all the vast knowledge the bible contains, a CHILD can you tell you as much about the stars and our universe as God can.

  • "I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me? "

" From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise because of your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger. "

  • @tcalcut

it IS too hard for the the lord, god of all mankind, to explain ANYTHING about stars...that he apparently created.

i would like to hear an actual thought up idea from your brain to explain this to me(if that is possible for you?if its not, i understand, not your fault). and not "because god said so" or any other stereotypical christian response. if not, you are not accomplishing anything by quoting the bible to me. thanks.

  • " He tells the number of the stars; he calls them all by their names. "

" The heavens declare the glory of God ; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. "

  • how many does he say there are? more than all of the grains of sand?

i would like to hear a thought from YOU as to why he cannot tell us anything about the stars. :)

the second verse is irrelevant. but very moving i must say.

  • " As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant."

" He is the Maker of the Bear and Orion, the Pleiades and the constellations of the south. "

  • im actually realizing that you are slightly more intelligent than i anticipated for only using quotes from the bible :).

but this does prove how long ago and how little these people knew, half of that statement being correct, that the stars cannot be numbered, sand however can be. therefore if you were to multiply the number of sand grains by the "seed" referred to in your quote, according to the bible you CAN find the number of stars, which it says you cannot. "host cannot be numbered"

  • " It is the glory of God to conceal things, but the glory of kings is to search things out. "

  • eh, i dont like that one, thats like saying god works in mysterious ways, and i kinda just throw that argument in the garbage.

there is no quote to justify the contradiction i mentioned earlier.

there are two noted lineages of jesus in the bible, both of which start with the king, and end in joseph then jesus. but if jesus was born of a virgin, then how can jesus' lineage be traced through joseph? i am quite interested to see the quote you choose to respond to this with.

  • ....." He is the Lion from the tribe of Judah "

  • @Tcalcut

i just made another realization, that two of the quotes contradict eachother.

"he tells the number of the stars, he calls them by their names"

    and

"as the host of heaven cannot be numbered"

just an observation. unless i am misinterpreting "host of the heaven"

  • @commerceskate One verse is obviously written from God's perspective "he tells the number of the stars, he calls them by their names." And the other quote from man's perspective "as the host of heaven cannot be numbered."

It is just like the verse in the Bible which speaks of the sun's "rising and setting" clearly written from man's perspective. And we STILL speak of the sun's rising and setting. Such references do not make the Bible a lie or untrue in any way.
