1. renewables are seasonal

2. wind farms dont always blow in the right direction

3. coal has feuter and is better than renewables or wind farms

Those who work in the industry know at first hand the efforts that go into keeping emissions to a minimum on power stations. To all protestors I say this, with out demand there would be no requirement to generate. It's simple pyhsics. You protestors are generally middle class, educated and motivated, why not channel your energy into helping solve the energy/ climate problem? Instead of causing unnessesary expense and problems for companies' trying to do it for you.

Yes, the video battle of the fences video should be reinstated. Obviously the protestors were proud enough of it, and their actions to post it in the first place, presumably thinking it would summon up more support. Come on climate camp! Either reinstate it, or explain why you had it removed.

There is a debate going on about whether videos of direct action protests should show people's faces, if there is a risk they can be used as evidence by the police.

Personally I would like to repost the 'Battle of the Fences' video footage: people took part in the protest openly, in front of numerous cameras.

Transparency and a refusal to be intimidated into secrecy has been one of the best things about the Climate Camp's campaign.

What does everyone think?

Ironically I'm watching this On the internet, on a computer, powered by electricity. From a power station. Generated by burning coal! Therefore I should imagine all the people who attended will be sitting at home, in the dark, without any electricity. Otherwise you are all hypocrites. And well done for wasting police resources. Obviuosly these groups thought that causing criminal damage was great, but now it has backfired and they are shown in their true colours, as anarchist troublemaking criminals, they are backtracking and want the videos removed. But surely they are up for democracy, free speech and openness? So why hide what you've done?

I wonder why Camp For Climate Change have requested the two videos "Battle of the Fences" be withdrawn ?

There was no bias commentary etc the videos simply showed what happened on the day. They were obviously unhappy when they saw what their supporters had been upto and the light in which they were shown.

These people would not have been so quick to ask for videos to be removed if the Police had have been doing what the protesters had been doing. injured Police Officer airlifted to hospital.

At last a Vid on how a protest should be conducted notice how the police let the protest block the road and move out of the protest area as the protest was being conducted in a fair way they gave a little!! shame on the protest I**ts who spoiled it later on!!! Would not blame the Bill for turning you all away at the station next time!! If you still have any support now you have just become mindless criminals.....
