Automatically restored upon completion of sentence, probation and/or parole; felon must register to vote; however, a person is forever disqualified from voting if convicted of a crime connected to the exercise of the right to vote.
The reason why the state has been slow on notify exfelons and getting the word out there is because they know only a few thousand will get there voting rights back and the majority of the ones eligible have thousands of dollars in fines .
