  • When I do these execises I feel pressure on the '' front ' side of my shoulder and none on my chest, am I doing it wrong or are my chestmuscles more muscled then my shouldermuscles. ( btw I just started training @ home just for a week now )

  • Form is a bit wrong. like Bring the dumbbell down to the shoulder will invite shoulder pain. Dumbbell should be brought down untill the elbow are parallel to the chest. Same goes for the fly.

  • @jerkins30 it means you should do four sets. Start by doing 12 repetitions(reps), then rest for about 30 seconds. Then do 10 reps, rest and so on. You get it right?

  • I can't do the dumbbell flys because the weight goes to my shoulders, and i never feel my chest ache even after I'm already tired from bench and incline, I still try the DB flys but always fail.

  • dumble flat flies. Make sure its weights that arent that heavy. once you feel a strain on your shoulder muscle, stop the and just do dumbell flies. its not smart if your muscles are ripping

  • @tugberkarda Depends on yourself, some people have more hormones with egg white then other people so they are getting build faster instead of someone else.. It's true that it takes a while but that's with every muscle group :)

  • @clikclikboom123 generally anywhere from 5-12 reps is one set. 20 reps would be a set too and that's to get really defined muscles.

  • @BigPoppa1203 Brazilians researched this and put a group of people through a 4 month weightlifting course. Each group rested different amounts of time between the sets and they found out that the people who rested 5 minutes after every set built the most muscle.

  • you must not arch your back while doing chest workouts it strains your back and you'll be high risk for injury

  • @Popanaden 1 full set within a day. U should try to do this full set every other day, allowing at least 1 day for rest and recovery. Doing too much may slow your progress because of lack of time to recover and grow.

  • @infernogamers Yes that's fine but dumbbells will be better if you are concerned about developing very balanced muscles. Using a bar means that you may still lift a bar if one arm is weaker than the other with the bar slanted downwards towards the weaker side. But not for dumbbells.

  • @Jorn94g Hi there! They are 10kg on each side. The weights are not a lot but the video is meant for demonstration purpose and to show good form rather than lifting massive weight plates with poor form.

  • If you do this at least 3x per week, you should feel your chest tighten within 2 weeks, 4 weeks to see better definition and if you continue, the results will continue to come.
