But-if McCain wins-she will have to "conveniently" step down for some reason-and thats when McCain can bring in the person he wanted for the job. I believe this is one of the reasons why she has not given interviews and might not even show up to the debate. She is just there to get "votes," but she won't be VP and I think that will come out.
