When older artists try to sound "current" is when they end up losing their credibility. Though he's definitely very capable of playing different styles of music, I wouldn't say he encompasses (almost) all directions. I've yet to see anything electronic, heavy (think metal), classical. Though I haven't heard enough to judge thoroughly...

All that being said, Willie has a very odd charm about him and his music.
