@YungRoyellProduction Actually my interpretation of the song is that this is a recent breakup; whether it was him breaking up with her or her breaking up with him, he's still feeling the pain. In the beginning he mentions "I can't even bare to see you happy, I can't even bare to see you smile" which to me means that he can't see his ex smiling. It's true though, after a breakup, its pretty hard to see an ex be happy when your not. My suggestion is that after a hard breakup, listen to this.
