It's so pretty! My arrangement is demented compared to this!!! Yours is so melodious, but mine is really chunky, and it sounds like someone threw it together because they could nt because they felt like it. I love the 'question answer' from the violins. That was cool.

This is my first and always from Ravel...senior in high school and I found an LP in a remainders bin. I 've always thought it evokes a courtly Medieval moment of heartfelt loss and tribute to the beauty and promise that now won't be realized, and your performance puts  me in that moment.

The best arrangement I've ever heard, hands down. I always felt the melody should be played on a violin, viola or cello. It evokes a much more haunting feel.

It was also the hardest arrangement to do for me, took about six passes to get it right (the players were patient), but the most rewarding.
