SIngapore is absoloutly amazing. They live on a little Island with little resources, they even import their water, yet one of the most wealthy and prosperous places in the globe. The ppl are extremely well educated, did not feel much rubbish racial tension at all and found their ppl to be very civilized, with many opportunities if you are smart.

I'm an American. Thinking of visiting Singapore. I feel the current regime is going to render America a so-so place to live in 10 years or so. New Zealand, Singapore, Costa Rica are on my list.
Singapore is expensive so I'd have to buy a condo, not a house I guess.
At least their hospitals and schools won't be nasty like it will be in America one day.
@MPDLR well condos are expensive as well.. u can get a HDB apartment as 80% of Singaporeans live in HDB apartments. Great if you wanna mix with us heartlanders and most singaporeans. best way to know the culture. But if you visit singapore for the first time housing agents will most probably push you to a condo as they know they'll get better paychecks. And thats why u see most expats in condos
