The incredibly moving final film of Gus van Sant's Death trilogy is not the best, admittedly, but there is more power in it, a more acute sense of humanity, that makes the final shot of him exiting his body all the more powerful. It's no "Gerry" or "Elephant", but "Last Days" is nevertheless an important film in van Sant's career.
@rockonruup1 It's not about Kurt. It was an experimental film. And it's called cinematography. It wasn't trying to be an A list film it was making a point and establishing a mood.

this movie is really bad.
it had no feeling, no music of him (wich is epic)
and doesnt shwo any kind of drug abuse nor the killing of himself.
this is just plain. shots where way too long! and from too far away.
horribly filmed.
