Tennessee fans are funny! The only reason Lane went to Tennessee is because clemson dropped him after he was charged with drug possession and distribution! when your at the the game look at Lanes right inner bicep... theres a tattoo of a tiger paw; he got it right after committing to clemson hahaha
@jboycep And you should see what Peyton Mannings done in the NFL the past 13 years. Clemson may have one losing season in 20 years but since 1991 Tennessee has had 2 SEC titles and 1 National Championship (something Clemons never had) and have a record of 169-72 Tennessee's all time win percentage is .690 while Clemsons is .591. Now with all that being said, I respect Clemson and they are a good football team, for the ACC,
@jboycep ok have fun losing in the ACC. The only two names that stick out to me in that list are DaQuan Bowers and CJ Spiller and they both have yet to do much in the NFL. Try Peyton Manning Eric Berry Reggie White Arian Foster John Henderson Donte Stallworth Jason Whitten Albert Haynesworth Travis Henry
Clampetts fans, you gotta be kidding me, we(vols) are the fucking alpha and the omega of football!!!! The time we took off, well, you should've capitalized, but you couldn't! Ur a second rate acsee team, how special.....
If he liked playing for a team with no tradition in a mediocre conference then Clemson would have been a good choice. However, most players like teams with both a good tradition and a noteworthy conference. Looks like he made the right choice in being a VFL. Go Vols!!
I think he will add the lightning to the thunder that Poole brings. Can't wait to see them line up and start cramming it down some throats...GO VOLS!!!
@Wezcoastbiatch: This is my view: our offensive line can't be any worse that it was last year. Last years group got us 6-6 with a harder schedule than the 2011 schedule. They can only get better.
Compared to THIS YEAR'S O-line, next year's line will be incredible. It's not years of experience, but it'll be night and day from 2010, considering the balance of crucial experience (any is more than none) and raw new talent. It's going to be better. We're obviously still rebuilding, but it's going to be scores better.
Glad he's going to UT. Should be an amazing talent. One thing that bugs me though with our fans... A couple months ago, any of our losses were chalked up to having one of the youngest, least experienced offensive lines in the entire country. But since the season has been over , I've heard time and time again about how these new backs and qbs and receivers will benefit from an "experienced" oline. You don't go from green and inexperienced to veteran in a few months. So which is it folks?
@Wezcoastbiatch pipe dream. we're still going to struggle. hopefully they'll be good enough to protect bray until we can start opening up some running lanes with the pass. we won't be a run first team next year, that's for sure.
Much faster than David Oku and Bryce Brown. He's gonna be a good compliment to Rajon Neal and Tauren Poole. All 3 will be running behind a very experienced line next year. GO VOLS!!!
It's about time this beast had a video on youtube. Can't wait to see him run through the T. Good luck Mr. Lane, and keep your head on your shoulders. Don't be an idiot in other words.
