  • Bravo <3 So much modern day dressage incorporating pain; harsh tack and hands and rollkuur; this is true, beautiful dressage. Im curious to know how they break horses in at the Spanish Riding School

  • brilliant. love the commetary too. humans are trying to catch up with the majesty of nature.

  • So beautiful!

  • it's magic!!!!

  • You are my inspiration. Thank You!

  • ♥ is all i can say

  • Lovely - it is indeed

  • I know I will never be able to ride like this, but I want is to actually go to Vienna and see this, and then take the train to Piber to visit the stud. It is the most beautiful thing I can imagine.

  • The best

  • Is the rest of this particular movie somewhere? What's the title?

  • @RegnstadsKatt

The Spanish Riding School of Vienna. Part 1/2

You will recognize it because it was posted by the same user, marcogalonline.

    Lovely, no?

The original movements were born of battle field necessity.

  • @gmwwc

Thanks. Still not sure that's the films actual name though: good enough.

And yes I know that is the current consensus.

  • This is really incredible..i love it die with no regret!

  • Thanks for posting. I really enjoyed it a lot.

  • Thank you for posting. Truly wonderful!

  • Oh yeah I do, but not when they're riding...

  • I don't see any side reins....

  • The horses at the Spanish Riding School are always lunged with side reins.....

  • @fireantranch - you look again.. The horse being lunged in the beginning with the apprentice doing gymnastics on it's back IS wearing side reins.. I can se the difference, thank you very much

And like I wrote, apart from that I do certainly agree that it is beautiful..

  • It shouldn't be necessary for such a well-trained horse to wear side reins.. Otherwise it looks really really beautiful..

  • @mizzfoxable

Ummm, those aren't side reins - looks again. It's the double bridle and they are hardly using the curb

  • @mizzfoxable and you know soooo much more than the SRS with it's over 400 years of dressage excellence.

  • Beautiful.

  • So alive, so true, so much preparation. Thank you for this.
