Its all about Gadd,Colaiuta,bonnham,Buddy,Gene krupa,kollias ps Lars is awfull, wrote some awesome songs decades ago and has got progressively worse since,now he can barely play live at all.

@06scoobysti i agree with you that he is not the best drummer that ever lived, nor is he a drumming legend but saying that his drum skills are pathetic is a HUGE stretch. Lars is a terrific drummer, not the best but very very good, and besides i doubt that you could do any better than he could, I don't see you getting tributes on youtube...

I hate how people try and title drummers as "the best in the world"...No one is the best in the world. Lars just had passion for the drums, and let that passion take him to where he is today. But there is no volume on how good of a drummer is.

Lars is one of the best drummers. He is so different. Fight Fire with Fire... BATTERY?! And all of the Justice album.. no one could ever do that. People make him seem so underrated. but he's really kick ass. He and cliff drove metallica. and him and james has a lot of stuff going on now. he's a kickass drummer.

There are tons of drumplayers that stick to easy drumming like acdc, kiss, zz top, mötley crue...so why just give lars all the shit? And beside. Lars has already proven himself during the first records..as well as on later records. even though latest albums has been songs with slower tempo. So shut the fuck up people if you ain't got anything good to say !=P
