On the topic of public sex a point that needs to be made is that it is in large part an artifact of oppression. A bathroom or a public park is a completely anonamous setting with complete deniablity, the only kind of outlet availible for the fully closeted. Now I won't pretend that there isn't a good deal of sleazy horn-doggery involved in all these goings on but don't underestimate how much is driven desperate lonliness and not knowing what else to do.
I have respect for people such as yourself, it takes courage and conviction to stand up and say something like this. Real change / reformation / progress comes from people like you who stand up and make a difference.
@bpoet26 We Muslims need more people like you :) And try get muslims to understand the people of Lot (pbuh) were a horrific nation who robbed strangers, set up unjust courts and raped male strangers out of control and power, which is a completely different thing to actual consential homosexuality, which is not a choice
salaam, i know what you mean. I have a "gay"male relative, he is muslim. He realy is a good dude, prays salaat, is kind, generous, etc. I think we need to separate the promiscuous from nonpromiscuous. And leave the rest upto Allah.
